The simplest way to find most major causes that lead to OCD is simply getting a hair mineral analysis and watch which minerals are either almost non-existent, or off the charts. Those can be revealing at times, one note might be to keep watch on manganese toxicity (e.g. manganese madness), which in excess also leads to this condition (such as exposure to welding with manganese dust), as is carbon monoxide poisoning, from exposure to gas stove heaters that has improper circulation of air.
One other thing that I have found is excessive metals that may exist that enters the neural system (in the angular cingulate area) which causes excessive excited states of neural metabolism. One possibility to remove heavy metals maybe is the l-carnosine 500 mg x 3 supplement and Methyl sulfonyl methane. However, I live in a tropical area and such symptoms here are rare due to a lot of sun exposure anyway, but there are exceptions such as drinking Coke zero and chewing gums with aspartame that leads to that condition still. So the incidence here may likely increase in the near future. Other things I might try are also taurine, which is neuroprotective and sodium thiosulfate (dechlorinator) that removes heavy metals. So perhaps the big difference between my list and yours might be one of the problem why there's some lack of success. It is possible to alkalize the brain and reduce some hyperactivity from excessive acidity, which burns out the nerves, is the use of carbicarb + potassium remedy I employ sometimes. The dose is a conservative 1/4 teaspoon of sodium carbonate + 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/8 teaspoon of potassium bicarbonate in a 1/2 glass of water taken perhaps 3 times a day may lessen this acid brain issue. Eating meats and acid forming food may worsen the condition, in particular is the wheat, mushrooms, sugar, MSG,coffee and especially aspartame. Therefore, I would very likely to read the labels before consuming any perpared food products.

P.S. Vitamins used to treat Obsessive compulsive disorder are vitamin B8 Inositol, perhaps 1000 mg, and perhaps B5 calcium pantothenate that I am aware of. Some people with certain B deficiencies can lead to certain psychological problems also.

Calcium or vitamin D won't generally help the condition. The cause of OCD, extreme anxiety, and depression are uneven brain metabolism. Some parts are excessive, which has excitotoxin, some parts are of low energy level, which leads to depression, while certain traumas leads to OCD. The best remedy is to reduce the excessive excitotoxins, by avoiding glutamate (MSG), aspartame, and certain foods rich in these, such as aspartic acid, phenylalanine, glutamic acid, are possible and you can look over in the nutritional database that you can google. These foods should containing aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and glutamic acid should generally be low. Sometimes uneven brain metabolism is low in iodine, tyrosine, and antioxidants. The remedy that supports brain functions to be more or less even are omega 3, fish oil, evening primrose oil, which more or less even out the brain metabolism. Energy states of the brain is low leading to depression may be mitochrondria being exposed to free radicals, leading to low energy. The supplements I personally used to help low brain energy level is just 2 drops twice a day of 0.1% methylene blue, which I can get them from a aquarium shop and further dilute them from 1% to 0.1% and taken a 2 drops twice a day. Other supplements helpful are taurine, vitamin C and some vitamin B50 taken once or twice a week. Those are more directly the supplements that help brain function, but I can't see their benefits from vitamin D, except for immune system or if the person has a deficiency such as lack of sun exposure due to certain work or environment. Cows generally are vegetarian, and they seem to have enough calcium without the need to drink milk during their adult life and calcium is one of the biomarkers of aging. It tends to increase with age, although I will take vitamin D from time to time to increase lung capacity and muscle atrophy, which is one of the hallmarks of a vitamin D deficiency.
The calcium pantothenate that I have previously mentioned, which is vitamin B5, I have found that in recent literature that the most bioavailable from is the panthenol, which I am currently using to help restore neurological damages caused by strokes, etc.
