Natural Treatment for H-pylori

Question by Terri (Lake Mary, FL) on 10/12/2006

I have a question for YOU.... I have H. Pylori, and have been told I have to treat it with antibiotics. I am afraid of antibiotics, especially such high doses. I have been on the internet for days now, trying to find something natural that will get rid of this bacteria, with no success. I have bought all the meds I need to start the anti-B treatment, but am praying there is a natural alternative for me...please, can you help

Dear Terri: I have seen H. Pylori killed with just taking some 5% solution fulvic acid with some added sea salt of about 5% also. And drink for a couple of days. However, I found just taking only one glass of one teaspoon of 5% fulvic acid with 5% sea salt in one day three times per day completely killed the H. pylori.

The problem as with most people is that finding fulvic acid may be a problem so in certain cases drinking temporarily of course, maybe once a week with 1 tablespoon of sea salt in 1 glass of water I have known to kill the pylori too, however that was a minor case of H. Pylori that was cured and difficult to generalized.

H. Pylori might have one other peculiar weakness, a small amount of borax, such as adding 1/4 teaspoon of borax per liter of water, and with 20 drops of 3% H2O2 to that one liter drinking water.

To get just enough sea salt in it without causing too much sodium retention or excess salt, I think just one single teaspoon of sea salt would be one way you can try as one possible alternative approach.

The H. Pylori conditions should be reduced the next day, if all things go as expected.

I have been taking Fulvic Acid 1 teaspoon 4 x a day Fulvic acid it is pretty amazing... I feel better so I do believe it is working! How long should I take it to be sure I've eradicated the H. Pylori Do you think it is wise to take extra probiotics while I'm taking the Fulvic acid

The fulvic acid is good, also, humic acid or shilajit. You can safely keep taking all of these as they are very mineral rich and healing to the body. You can add fermented foods which will help colonize the good bacteria which would be better than probiotics alone. Also, H. Pylori reduces the stomach acid to stay alive so you may want to take hydrochloric acid (HCL)with your meals. It helps to destroy pathogens in the stomach. Hope this helps.

Terri, one of my kids also had H. Pylori. This kid went the antibiotic route, but I was googling a lot at the time and remember reading that Manuka Honey is effective for eradicating H. Pylori. I don't remember how much a person is supposed to take, or how often... Just that it should be eaten on a piece of bread or a cracker rather than a spoon. (I still wish he'd just go through one jar of Manuka Honey to make sure that the H. Pylori is gone for good, but he will not).

Hi Everyone: I'm Granny B, I have H pylori for 3 years but was recently diagnosed Oct 4, 2012 with this dreadful bacteria. I refused to take the 3 antibiotics twice a day for 14 days because of what I've been reading and how my body reacts to antobiotics. Manuka Honey 15 1/2 tablespoon twice a day, Mastic Gum 1 pill every morning 1 hour before breakfast, Probiotic 3 times a day, apple cider vinegar 1/2 teaspoon before bed, licorice 1 a day, Kefir 6 ounces 3 times a day, 1 glass of pineapple juice and cranberry juice mixed together 3 times a day. I was not diagnosed with GERD or anything else but the Hp. Whatever I eat or drink, either comes up or out, I've changed my diet as well. I still cannot eat anything, I'm bloated daily, all day, all night, gas hurts, my stomach growls so loud you'd think its talking to you, I can't go out anywhere unless, I don't eat or drink 1 day prior to going anywhere and I am MISERABLE! Any suggestions!!!

H. Pylori is not something easily eradicated. One have to try several approaches and for a long time. Also Google "essential oils for HPylori" and read the most comprehensive book about it on *h-pylori-symptoms. Com*. What works for one would not for another. There are many strands of these bacteria.

It takes time and patience with Hpylori. I recommend you start with adding these supplements to your diet to take symptoms under control and then start "working" with Hpylori. The supplements are: RM-10, Primal defense, and Qzyme, and Seabuckthorn oil on empty stomach. I guarantee you will start feeling better, but that will be just beginning - you still need to eradicate or take under control h. Pylori. Start reading all you can about it. Good start is the book on "h-pylori-symptoms.com". The probem with HP is that the outcome of the infection depends on complex interactions between the bacterium and the host, such as the virulence of the infecting strain, the genetic constitution and age of the host, environmental factors, and dietary habits. Read "Essential Oils as components of a diet based approach to management of helicobacter infection" in "Antimicrobial agent and chemotherapy" medical journal- available online.
