The other problem certain heavy metals persistent in the body may cause the scarring because these are oxidizing. The other thing I have noticed is frequent hemorrhoids may cause intestinal scarring also and I found the best ways to protect this is that the intestines lacked the bicarbonates necessary to NEUTRALIZE the acid of digested food whenever the stomach drains away to the intestines. When intestines cannot neutralize the acid food, it eats or digests the intestines causing the scarring.
What cat's claws does best is that it solves part of the problem by removing heavy metals. Enzymes will dissolve bacterial buildup in the scarring area but not necessarily PREVENT future scarring.
The key issue appears to be iodine and baking soda. However the best ones that is most helpful appears to be a formula that removes metals, neutralize the acid, and provides alkalizing mineral to the body. That formula that works best for this besides the gluten issue is apple cider vinegar + baking soda + lime juice. To mix a right quantity, therefore 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar + one whole lime + add enough baking soda until the fizz stops, then add water to 1/2 glass at least, or preferably 1 whole glass.
The citrate that is formed from the reaction between the baking soda and the lemon juice citric acid will chelate some metals out and it is also anti inflammatory, while the minerals from the apple cider vinegar will balance the body of alkaline minerals, while the baking soda itself will allow the body to buffer whatever digested acid food thrown from the stomach without harming the intestines. Therefore, this formula should be taken before eating by over 1 hour. In practice, it is taken once in the morning and another one before sleep. Hemorrhoids stops after this alkalizing, and also I suspect people with iodine deficiency may in fact have problems tolerating the gluten. There is no way to know for sure, since in some cases it is the issue of fungus as being the cause in another cases it is the parasites. To cover all these, fungus is best eliminated with a small amount of borax for example, usually a pinch per dose and the parasites, I imagine can be handled with cat's claw, artemisia (wormwood) or even black walnut hull.
