I think you take strange things I wouldn't take, such as calcium citrate and zinc mono-methionine. The listerine and flossing covered up the bad metallic taste from too much antibiotic use. Combine that with wheat products, which shrinks the intestinal villi, and you have got an overly toxic body.
Calcium citrate makes Hashimoto hypothyroid much worse, and anything methionine raises the body's homocysteine, which is a recipe for disaster. Hashimoto is the gradual destruction of the thyroid gland brought on by a virus or h. pylori or both, which eats thyroid up.
What I would do is I will take 1/4 teaspoon lysine and 1/4 teaspoon threonine every hour for 4 hours in morning and every hour for 4 hours in the evening for 5 days, then I might lower the dose, in addition methionine is one of the worst amino acids after excitotoxins, such as aspartame, but zinc is not the remedy now, it is iodine foot painting. That would be reasonable, as Hashimoto's is due in part to iodine deficiency. And NO calcium. It should be seaweed or wakame first, which contains iodine.
Acidity in the mouth maybe high so avoid all wheat products, the body can't handle that. Wheat is a relatively recent phenomenon in agriculture when they phase out the traditional millet in 1950s, and when iodine bleaching was phased out in the 1970s for bromine process. Coconut oil used for cooking would be more ideal, and for oils for nutrition, hemp oil unheated, 1/2 teaspoon every other day would be a reasonable one.
Selenium, chromium and chlorophyll (copper chlorophyllin), and chlorella would be more suitable supplements along with magnesium citrate or magnesium chloride. Doctor's probably recommended (I could be wrong) minocycline or olmarsartan, and it damages the nerves for immune system, and it's likely from the antibiotic used, only the listerine covered it up.
To get metallic taste out, is to alkalize, such as baking soda after meals, and resolve the constipation, which prevents the body from detoxing. If there isn't enough sweating, the body doesn't detox enough. This can be helped with wet bentonite clay applied on the skin, and fan dry it, rinse and repeat 3 times to get some out.
The other thing is people with detoxing problems don't get their nutrients from the intestines (it's so messed up) such that applying magnesium chloride to the skin actually works better and also lugol's iodine would work better. These days, people avoid good things such as real butter and eat bad things such as wheat products, and take on acid forming foods, and the viruses and bacteria which eats up remains untouched, especially the Epstein Barr Virus which causes Chronic Fatigue, and iodine subclinical deficiency is about 90% in U.S.
The dryness of glandular functions characteristic of Sjogren's syndrome, is mostly helped with lysine and threonine, it takes (from my experience of those who had that) about one week of taking this to resolve. As there are many other diets all over the world, it may or may not work for you, but worth the try as it is a natural amino acid. And also getting the urine pH up to 6.5 to 7.0 and saliva pH (is harder) but is helped with potassium citrate, 1/4 teaspoon once or twice a day after meals.
