Better But With Side Effects
I am doing the HP oral therapy and did great--more energy, less pain, mental clarity--until I reached 21 drops 3x daily of 12% food grade, in distilled water. Then the horrible esophageal burning started! So I added 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in distilled water, directly after the HP. It helps some, but still the burning. Is there anything else I can do to rememdy this?
PLEASE NOTE: I had this same burning before starting the HP if I tried to eat fresh fruits/vegetables. Also, I have some fear that the HP will burn a hole in my stomach/esophagus. Any info would be much appreciated.

Better But With Side Effects
Hi. I just read an Earth Clinic report on your site (dated 11/21/2006) that casts doubt on whether H2O2 therapy might cause gastrointestinal problems. I just wanted to give you some feedback on the subject, based on personal experience. I've been on H2O2 therapy for a few weeks - long enough to see a few subtle changes for the better - but one down-side that I've also noticed is that I get very severe reflux as a result. My better half started the therapy at the same time as me, and he takes the same dose of H2O2 as me, but he hasn't had any reflux problems.
There's one main difference between the two of us however - I had a pretty nasty gastric reflux problem to start with (had it for years) whereas he doesn't have a pre-existing condition of this kind. So while I'm not saying that H2O2 actually causes gastric problems, I am saying that it might irritate pre-existing problems of that type in some people - particularly if the problem is already fairly severe to start with. I find it helps if I take my reflux medication during or before taking my daily H2O2 dose, and I also get better results if I don't let my stomach stay empty for too long after ingesting H2O2. It doesn't stop the reflux completely, unfortunately, but it seems to reduce the severity quite a bit.

I started taking H2O2 (35% food grade) 3 drops in 4-6 oz water 3x per day and increased 1 drop per day (I had to increase water amount too) to 14 drops. I have stayed on 14 drops 3x per day for 2 weeks (plan is 3 weeks then decrease back down to 3 drops 3x per day)I have started having pain in my lower abdomen that has gotten to be quite painful. I actually took a day off today as the pain is really concerning me. The only thing I can compare it to is when I had a colonoscopy 4 years and they removed a polyp or 2, I could feel a minor pain then and this current pain is in that area and much more panful than when they removed the polyps. Can anyone (Ted) advise what to do fo this pain? Thanks for your help. I have been reading many things on this site and am amazed at some of the testimonials.

Caution drinking Hydrogen Peroxide: I tried drinking less than a quarter capful of Rite Aid brand 3% hydrogen peroxide this morning in a 12 oz glass of water. I immediately felt my body tingling and I drank another glass of water to dilute the effect. Within minutes I felt a weird sensation and had to rush to the bathroom. I have been rushing to the bathroom practically all morning. I did not know whether to laugh or cry because I suffer from chronic constipation and I thought I welcome the frequent bathroom visits but not due to an upset stomach. I drank another glass of water and continued feeling funny. I went to Rite Aid and spoke to the pharmacist who told me I should be okay. I felt better after having a late breakfast. I have a sensitive stomach and I was told the HP may have been too much of an irritant for it. Just a word of caution if you are going to use 3% like I did for the first time, maybe you should start with one drop and see the effect or diarrhea and a racing pulse may be the side effect for a while. It is now about five hours later and I feel almost normal.

Hi, I wanted to warn people of one potential side effect of hydrogen peroxide therapy. I took it internally as directed on this website and started having palpitations about a week later. These were premature ventricular contractions and progressed to happen in a bigeminal pattern (every other beat) for about a third of every day. I have no prior cardiac history and am a generally health 36 year-old man. I stopped the hydrogen peroxide and they went away. I restarted it after a week of no palpitations to test the theory that it may be due to the hydrogen peroxide and they came back. Stopped it again, and they went away. Premature ventricular contractions are not usually harmful, but are disturbing and it also sent me on a wild cardiac goose chase (including a $2500 echocardiogram) because I didn't consider that it could be related to the hydrogen peroxide therapy.

Hello, everytime I take hydrogenperoxde by drinking 1-3 35% drops in a glass of tapwater or gargling, I get stings in my heart afterwards. What is the reason for this? I think about stopping hydrogen peroxide. Thank you
