Hi, I try grape seed oil for oil pulling first day and time. (16/5/2012). I only lasted less then 5mins. I think I swish to hard till my mouth/throat is swollen.. Anyway after the first round there's this super thick white coat on my tongue. I mean I have white coated tongue like always. but it isn't that thick before I did oil pulling.

Why is this happening? I hope by tomorrow morning or afternoon when I do oil pulling again will be gone. Anyone had white coated tongue after oil pulling Is this the detox or what you called die off symptoms?

thanks. :)

Oil Pulling Oil Type

I recommend grapeseed oil for beginners. It is thinner, very light in flavor and easier to "work" when you are first getting started. I have used sesame and olive in the past. It seems like just about everything from the olive tree is good for us, so why not? Grapeseeds have health building properties too, so it seemed a good thing to try.

Hi all, I have started oil pulling for 4 days now using cold pressed grape seed oil. I chose this oil because it's rich in antioxidants, bioflavonoids, high content of linoleic acid and vitamin E.When used on the skin Grapeseed oil makes it soft and glowing. Used for Oil pulling, it will not only clean you inside but your mouth will receive a cleaning of a life time. Try it if you love yourself and share with us your story.
