Better But With Side Effects

I have started using Apple Cider Vinegar for my blood pressure and have noticed a difference in my skin and am not as bloated. But I also take meds for hbp. I have noticed that the Apple Cider Vinegar makes me very tired and sleepy could it be reacting with meds? how can I take both without the tiredness? thanks for all info.

Better But With Side Effects

Just a few days ago I started taking 2 tbsp of ACV with 8 oz of hot water and 1 tbsp of honey to clear up a sore throat. It cleared up my throat really well and I have been taking it every day since, but I find that I can't go to sleep until the hours of 3-5 am. I am not even tired, I just am wide awake, and I usually take ACV before noon. Also, it leaves me bloated and feeling like my food is not digesting... Like I have a brick in my stomach. I don't really get hungry because of it but I force myself to eat at least 3 meals a day due to past troubles with food. Is this normal?

Better But With Side Effects

I too, have experienced side effects from taking the ACV. The good side-effects were some weight loss and appetite suppression. I also overcame my sugar addiction, and nipped an oncoming UTI in the bud before it became a problem! (A couple of Tbs of Organic ACV in a pitcher of water with some raw honey, sipped several glasses of it and felt wonderful within an hour or so!) I was expecting to see the doctor in the morning, but was back up walking around before bedtime - I even proceeded to bake a loaf of bread that night!

However, the negative effects included raw looking gums that appeared to have receeded somewhat. They were already receeding somewhat to begin with, but after the first week or so I developed a very sensitive spot at the gumline. I immediately stopped my daily glass of 1 tsp-1 Tbs of organic ACV in a tall glass of water and filled my dental trays with organic virgin coconut oil and then oil pulled for the next few days which took away my sensitivity and appeared to repair my gums as well. I had also developed heartburn from the ACV which subsequently cleared up when I quit drinking the ACV tonic. It's been about a month since I quit, and my problems have disappeared, so I have begun, over the past few days reintroducing it with a pinch of baking soda to neutralize the acid, which hasn't given me any of the same problems I had previously.

My question though, is: does neutralizing the acid reduce it's effectiveness for overall health benefits? I love ACV and all that it does for us, but am afraid of ruining my teeth! Heartburn is no fun either :(

ACV: Side effects?

After reading about ACV and its benefits, I've tried it with mixed results. Sometimes, I think my skin is looking better and I feel more energetic but at other times(for no other apparent reason), I feel my hair looks really dry and brittle, my skin looks bad. Is this something to do with dosage (I take 2tsp with 8Oz. water once a day), or is there something else I'm missing? Please help!

Vinagar did everything it is supposed to do for me. No more constipation, no more dehydration, more energy and loss of weght, however my mind does not function as well, I can't remember the names of the insects I try to classify. I am going to take less and take it in tea to help lose water from my blood to reduce the increase in BP. My blood pressure is too low, but now it goes a bit too high.

I can't understand the inability to concentrate. I am still experimenting and now am taking one teaspoon in a cup of tea with some artifical sugar.

Better But With Side Effects

I have been taking ACV for sometime after diluting 2 tsp in a glass of water, 2 times a day. I have found it highly beneficial for general health. However ever since I started taking it, all my joints click a lot! I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and/or has recommendations.

Thanks!

Better But With Side Effects

I am having the same problem with constipation. I lost 3 lbs somehow right away but have been constipated and am getting some canker sores too - wondering of it is the ACV. The first 2 days I did 2tbsp 2x day then switched when I came across the new recommendations so have been doing 2 tsp 1x a day. I have a sinus infection which seems to be slowing getting better but wondering if I should stop with the ACV. I feel like my eyes are burning slightly as well but hard to tell if that's due to sinuses. Would appreciate any helpful comments on constipation though and if that is a sign to stop or keep going.

Thanks
