BHT

Easy to take. I love it. It helps keep my herpes away.

Ex wife took this for a couple years for herpes simplex 1 on my advice, having read Pearson and Shaw. She used to get the "cold sores" all the time. Never had a single one while taking this. The health food store where we were getting it shut down, we couldn't find anyone else local, so we let it go. A month later she was in full bloom. This was in the mid 80s. My non-professional opinion is why pay for high $ anti-retro-virals when this cheap solution really works? If I had it I'd try this first and only go to the doc if this failed. By all accounts, low-dose BHT suppresses herpes simplex. I'm a believer, based on close secondary personal experience. It really works for the herp.

Oscar, Two years ago I took 350 mg capsule of BHT once a day for four days for the herpes virus. I had a nervous reaction to it so stopped after four days. It took me awhile to recover from that.

I would like to try it again and am wondering if anyone who has had this reaction has been able to take it at a lower dosage. If so, what would be the dosage to try?

I noticed a suggestion to break a capsule and touch the powder with a finger tip and try that for a reaction. If a reaction occurred when taking this small amount would it be as strong a reaction as with the 350 mg capsule? Or a lesser reaction?

I ask this because a pharmacist once told me that if you ever react to any medication you will always again react to it just as powerfully even if it's taken in a minute dose. Not sure whether to believe that as it doesn't seem logical.

Thanks.
