Raised in the country hills of Kentucky, I was taught at a very young age that the remedy for the burning sensation on my legs from an encounter with a stinging nettle vine was to go down the the creek and apply wet mud to the area. You will have INSTANT RELIEF from the burning.

I have used this remedy every time I have gotten into nettle vines and it works.... Plain old mud.
