Drinking cold peppermint water works instantly for me whenever I get motion sickness or nausea from eating bad food. Also, whenever I'm chained to the bathroom because of the flu, peppermint water helps to keep me from vomiting.

One or two drops of Peppermint extract in water. The ratio of peppermint to water really doesn't matter- I generally like my peppermint water strong (1 drop of peppermint in 3 table spoons of water), but everyone else in my family prefers diluted stuff (2 drops in 6 ounces). Nevertheless, it will still work.

Peppermint extract is available in the spice section of most of the grocery stores I go to.

Tic Tacs help with nausea amazingly well... But only the white ones. I am guessing it is the mint in them but it works for all my friends too. I carry them around with me everywhere. I often get queasy feeling and they work very fast.

I soooooo agree! It's amazing. Works awesome for nausea. I rub it on my tummy and throat and it's gone in minutes. But for headaches it's AWESOME!!!! I put it not only on my temples but totally across my fore head and wow, it's almost instantaneous! And if I feel sinus pressure on my cheeks I put it there too!

Chewing mint gum significantly reduces my nausea. Usually the nausea is from feeling dizzy or car sickness. It doesn't completely take it away, but it keeps me from feeling worse.
