I had some small warts frozen off my face at a dermatologist. They did say that they could come back. They did and I applied apple cider vinegar with a cotton ball on them several times a day. The dry tops just fell off and appear to be healing. They were on my forehead and itched and just caused aggravation - so thankful this remedy worked for me!

I had warts on my hands in the past and using topical thuja with a bandaid changing it twice a day got rid of them.

Now I had a wart on my toe and one on my finger. The thuja wasn’t working so I gave ACV a try. Small piece of a cotton ball with ACV taped with a bandaid or medical tape. Changed in the morning and evening. Within a couple days the warts would turn black. I picked the black part off and kept applying ACV. Sometimes it would BURN really bad but put up with it cause it’s working.

It did take a month or so to get rid of the finger one completely. it would turn black and I would peel it off. Give it a break from ACV and if it still grew back I’d do it again.

the toe one took a lot longe. Probably about 9 months to get rid of. I kept putting ACV on it for a few months then gave it break for probably a month. Went back at it and then it was finally gone after another couple weeks or so.

IT WORKS! I’m telling you. You just gotta stay consistent. Keep killing it with the ACV until you’re sure it’s really dead. The black might just fall off on its own or I guess you could pick it out like I did. Not sure if that’s recommended tho.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Warts

To remove warts, lightly ruff up the wart with a finger nail file. Lightly soak a cotton ball with ACV and hold it on the wart for 20 minutes for 5 -7 days. The wart will start turning black and will be completely gone in 10 days. No scars that come from surgery.

I had a small wart appear on the side of my head. I thought I'd give ACV a try. For three nights I placed a little bit of tissue soaked with vinegar against it. By day three I noticed it was coming loose. With just a little bit of pressure the whole thing came off. Amazing!

It may have helped that it had developed only recently. I used organic ACV, with the mother.

I think ACV is a great way to treat issues naturally! I used it on a wart on my arm that got really dark so I became concerned. So I used ACV and after only two days of applying ACV on the spot then putting Scotch tape over it three times per day, it is nearly gone. It is white. Now I have a spot on the side of my nose that keeps bleeding and won't heal. I have a cotton ball with ACV taped to my nose and will continue with this treatment. I believe it is working.

I have had warts for at least 6 years, and I thought that everybody had warts, but somebody at school pointed out my warts and from then on I knew warts weren't something everybody had. So I tried getting rid of them by putting on hand sanitizer, and wearing wart remover bandages, it turns out that it actually worked, but only made them smaller. I ended up googling how to get rid of warts and it Apple Cider Vinegar, so I tried it, and it worked.

I've had this wart on my finger for almost a year now, I used ACV and it started turning black, the wart came off ( at least I think ) but the inside had a yellow daughter and the outer part of my skin is a light red and hurts a little. Should I continue putting ACV on it or let it go away on it's own .

I used ACV on a huge wart that the doctor tried to remove and kept coming back... Ad I soaked a cotton ball with ACV and taped it on his toe with the sheer white Medical tape changing in the morning and at night and before my very eyes this wart slowly went away! The center started turning black and it seemed to be like a seed... Truly this is amazing and I tell anyone that will listen! Lol! My husband is thrilled!

YES YES A HUNDRED TIMES YES!!

I dealt with the same incessant warts on my hands and feet for YEARS--I went to the doctor once a week to get freeze treatments, eventually she started giving me yeast shots directly into the wart as well--I was desperate. I couldn't work, I couldn't have a confident relationship, and instead of helping more kept popping up.

I tried duct tape, no luck.

I realized I needed to really alkalize my body so at the beginning of the summer I started taking a shot a ACV before each meal and eating primarily green veggies and fruits as well as cutting back on caffeine, alcohol and smoking. I felt healthier, but warts were still there, even with treatments.
Then I read on this page to actually put ACV on the warts topically, which I did, 50/50 ACV and water. I left it on overnight--yes it burns a little but not unbearable and if it is unbearable, just take it off rinse and it was fine. But at this point I welcomed that burn! Definitely less painful than going to the doctors and having the try to freeze of give shots.

Within one night they started changing colors, and within two they were all black. I kept the ACV on all night and most of the day too mind you--I was so excited to see results, I just pushed through. Within three days, all the warts--probably 10 total, had falled off, YES FALLEN OFF!! How cool is that? Leaving completely clean craters in the skin. I did one more treatment of ACV to be thorough and then let my body start healing. It's been 3 years now and I've never had another wart, they never returned. I still take ACV daily orally, because a healthy internal balance will prevent them from making a reappearance.

I have pictures that I will post later, it's pretty crazy. Good luck to all of you I know it can be so debilitating but there's hope!

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

Currently doing the ACV treatment. I have a cluster of warts on my fingers. The first 5 days of treatment, there was stinging when I applied the ACV overnight. Day 6 I decided to let my fingers rest because the skin around the warts were starting to burn. It is now day 7, and when I applied the ACV, it began to really hurt. It still hurts a lot, and I've had it on for over 15 hours now (the longest I've put it on so far).

From what I can tell, there has definitely been a lot of progression. The smaller warts have gotten even smaller. The larger warts are starting to turn black. They are hurting the most. I am going to withstand the pain and continue treatment. I will update with pictures when I can.

My son (14) had four warts on the palm of his hand. We have tried CompoundW for several months and it was working a little then we let our foot off the gas and tapered down on the regimen of nightly use. We are on the 5 day of treatment with ACV. Today one of the four warts just fell off. The others are visibly shrinking and turning black. The area around the skin is white.

-Clean hands well or affected area

-Use gauze, band-aids, duck tape and sterile tweezers

-Straight, non diluted, organic ACV

-Dip the gauze in ACV then apply to the warts

-Cover the gauze with the bandaids

-Then blot the surrounding area of skin to dry the excess ACV.

-Cover with ducktape. This is used to seal the area so the band-aids do not fall off at night.

-We apply this method in the evening at 8pm and remove in the morning at 7am.

I am thrilled this is working! Thank you Earth Clinic!

Apple Cider Vinegar for wart removal is fantastic. I had a wart develop just below my eye about 3 weeks ago. I let it go, thinking it would disappear by itself but it didn't. I jumped on this site last night -yes, last night- and saw the ACV for wart removal treatments. I doused a cotton bud in organic, unfiltered, unpasteurised, and placed it over the wart. I stuck it in place with a bandaid, and left it over night. I took it off this morning and noticed the wart had turned purple in colour. When I arrived home from work this evening, I touched the wart to see if it was sore or anything and it literally peeled off my face revealing soft, new skin underneath. The wart is completely gone, falling off in one lump.

One night. One night it took for this treatment to work. 24 hours later and the wart is completely gone. This treatment is amazing.

My son had two warts for the last three years that I tried everything to get rid of: OTC gels (3 kinds), banana peels, freezing it with an OTC product and at the doctor's office (that was $70), finger nail polish, acetone, silver nitrate (ouch), duct tape, potatoes, voodoo methods, and fig juice from our fig tree. Nothing worked. Nothing. Finally, I convinced my son to stop being wish-washy and follow through with the ACV method every day for two weeks.

One of the warts was huge and sitting on his elbow. It was about the size of a pencil eraser. I worried it would take more than two weeks, but our next option was having it surgically removed.

The first week I just rolled a little piece of cotton ball big enough to cover each wart, dipped it in ACV and slapped it on with a bandaid. After a six days the wart began turning black/red and looked angry and raw. But so did the rest of the skin around the warts. So I let my son's poor elbow and wrist rest for about three days. Then I started putting vaseline on the skin around the wart before I put the ACV cotton ball. Don't skip this part or you will burn the tender, unaffected skin.

Every few days I filed the warts down with a fresh Emory board that I threw out after each use. I don't even remember how it happened, but I think there was a scab after the second week and then the scab fell off, leaving a small scar. The wart on his wrist just disappeared with the other wart. I must have spent $150 on the doctor and OTC medications. In the end it was 10 cents in cotton balls, a $3 bottle of ACV and $1 in bandaids. Amazing.

I have had a seborrheic wart on my forehead for the past 7 years. It started of as a freckle when I became pregnant and steadily turned into a warty looking mole. I went to my GP who confirmed it was some type of wart and they would not do anything as it was cosmetic, if I wanted it removed I would need to see a cosmetic surgeon. I looked into this but it was so expensive so I then began to look on line to see if there were perhaps any home cures.

That's when I discovered Apple Cider Vinegar!! There were many reviews saying this worked. I knew I had this in so the first night I soaked a bit of cotton wool in the ACV covered my wart and stuck a plaster on. I slept with this on and removed in the morning, there was a stinging and redness but other than that not much difference. I repeated this on night 2 and 3. The wart started to turn black and the skin around it irritated by the ACV. I thought on night 4 I would not apply it to give my skin a rest. On the morning of day 5 I was lying in bed and felt my forehead, there was dry skin around the wart which I grabbed to pull off, when doing this the whole thing just peeled off and fresh pink skin underneath.. It had totally gone!! I cannot believe I have been walking around for 7 years with that thing stuck to my head and it's gone after a few days, painlessly and inexpensively. I was skeptical about this working but it does.. so happy!!

I had to create an account here just to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

A few weeks ago a wart appeared on my chin, I picked at it and assumed it was a spot, but it just got bigger. I accepted it must be a wart and set to work looking for a way to get rid of it. All of the pharmacist approved treatments say they are not suitable for use on the face, and so I was almost consigned to having it frozen off at my doctors surgery. It was at this point I found this site. ACV is clearly the most popular option amongst users, and I had used ACV to treat the effects of shingles successfully in the past, so thought I'd give it a go. I knew ACV stings when it has been in contact with broken skin, so thought I would also include some Aloe Vera on the plaster I applied, for the antiseptic soothing properties. I spent most of the weekend with a band aid, covered in Aloe Vera, a drop of Tea Tree, and most importantly the ACV as the top layer, which was in direct contact with the wart, I thought this had the added bonus that if the cotton wool ball slipped in my sleep, then there was still the AV and Tea Tree to work on my skin.

After the very first treatment the wart changed in appearance, turning into a visible structure of almost hair like cells (more akin to pics of other facial warts I've seen, which mine hadn't really looked like before) as well as being much whiter than previously. After 24 hours the wart had blackened, so I knew it was doing something. I woke up this morning and washed my face with a tea tree wipe and as I gently cleaned my wart it fell off in the wipe, so in just 48 hours the wart is visibly a million times better already, approximately 20% of its original size. I will of course continue the treatment, and would recommend ACV to anyone, try Aloe Vera to work with it if you have a problem with pain, because I've had no such issues. I wanted to thank this forum for saving me from having to get it frozen off. I can't thank you enough!

handsdown ACV WORKS!!!! I had a wart for a few years. I sought medical line of treatments and otc packs (dr.scolls). nothing worked. Finally I used ACV PACK, the duct tape method and changing the pack every 3 days after gentle scrubbing..for 2 months. Results: voila ...it just vanished and I saw new skin coming, yet I continued for one more month.. I don't have a sign of it now ? it's slow but surely works!!!! Try it now. Be very religious about the procedure. Do not be lazy!! It WORKS!

My dad had a pretty nasty growth on top of his ear that I figured was a wart. So one day I decided I was going to use my hippy method on him to prove that ACV is the bomb. My mom only had the pasteurized stuff, so I soaked that in a little piece of cotton ball, applied it to the growth which I had previously cleaned with an alcohol pad, held it all there with a huge Band-Aid. Kept in on there for 3 days, changed it everyday.

By the third day it had turned black and was beginning to flake off. Mom decided to let it get some air. It pretty much fell off on its own after that. So use your discretion on how long you want to keep the vinegar on it- but I say HOSE THE THING if you can stand it. It worked so fast. Some of the surrounding skin was also flaking off, but maybe it was infected as well. I just looked at the spot- two weeks later- it's like that thing was never there. Just a tiny little scab is left and the surrounding area is nice fresh pink tissue. This thing was probably the size of 2 pencil erasers together and it's gone!

Apple Cider Vinegar for Warts: This works! I had a wart on the top of my foot for 6 years! Like many of the other people who have posted on this site, I had it treated by the doctor and I treated it myself with the patches and every wart kit you can get at the drug store. It worked a couple times but then it would come back. I heard from some people that it may just go away. I also read that if I focused on improving my immune system that it would go away, so I did. But it just got bigger and then had 'babies'. So I did some research about surgery but I tend to lean away from western medicine. A month ago at about 3am I couldn't sleep and was thinking about how much I hated this stupid wart on me. I wanted it gone and knew I could find a way. I found this site and started reading all the feedback about how the apple cider vinegar was working for so many people. It sparked some major hope that I could potentially rid myself of these things and a month later, success!!!! I attacked the mother wart first. At the same time, I started treating a small one on the bottom of my foot and another between some toes. Every night (it was time consuming- but be persistant, you will be so happy once the warts are gone! ) I used an eye dropper full of ACV. Soak some balls of cotton that I pulled off of q-tips. I tried to make each ball the same size as the wart that it would go on. I used bandages called Nexcare, which were great because it kept the Apple Cider Vinegar from dripping and they stay on really well!! The warts first turned white. Then black spots. Then I used a pumice stone to filled the skin down a bit. A few times I got over zealous and it would bleed. I would only do the filing every other night. With the big wart, I notice the process repeat itself after I filed away a layer, it would turn white, then black again. By the way, it is painful too! I just kept thinking about how happy I would be once they were all gone:) I highly suggest taking a magnesium/calcium supplement like Calm. This will help you to sleep through the pain (besides the many other health benefits associated with taking a mag/cal supplement). I think I may have treated it longer than was necessary. I finally decided (around the 4week) to give it a break. I had come to the point where there really couldn't be more filed, and there were just crators left. Now there is new skin. It just looks a bit like there was a wound there. I am confident that with some rose hips oil the skin will heal up nicely. But first I am going to start treating the small 'baby' warts that are around where really big was. I promised myself a few things if it worked. 1)I would post the experience, 2)I would throw away all my flip flops - because I'm paranoid I will get another wart from them 3) I would buy myself a new pair of sandals! Oh and P.S. I started taking a zinc supplement and drinking ACV as I did the treatment for added immune support. Another thing, the pumice stone grossed me out after a few uses (because a lot of dead, infected skin comes off! ), so I tossed it and started using small rocks that I would gather from my backyard that looked rough enough to file the skin down:) That way I could use a new one each time!

I was intrigued by all the posts on Apple Cider Vinegar for various ailments and to be used as various remedies. So I recommended to a client that he use it for his wart after reading that it could disappear and/or fall off overnight. This client had been going to podiatrists and having the painful wart removed from the bottom of his foot for nearly two years - the wart probably gotten from going barefoot running. So I recommended this cure and he told me that the wart literally got black and fell off - and suddenly the pain was gone. Thank you to Earth Clinic and everybody who writes in for these amazing remedies!

I used regular food-grade Apple Cider Vinegar on my plantar warts after years of trying to freeze or compound-w them away. I had a very bad infestation on my toes and on the balls of my feet. There was nothing except duct tape that could stick to my feet all night long. I cut those make-up cotton rounds to size, soaked them in acv, and taped them in place each night until the pain was distracting me from sleep. I walked around in socks during the day, washed my feet with salycillic acid soap in the shower, and rubbed some reccommended supplemental powder (I forget the name of but was a bear to find at the druggist's) after the shower. I took a break for about a week and went at it again until they were all gone. I went from three- inch by inch sized mosaics, four kissing warts, and at least two dozen stand-alone warts to nothing in two months after having to wear socks and shoes all the time for 8 years to keep from infectin others. Now, I go barefoot all the time!

Apple Cider Vinegar cured 14 warts on my hands, most of them in a matter of 1 1/2 weeks, when nothing else would. I applied it at night by placing small bits of ACV-soaked cotton ball on the warts and securing them with duct tape, and then removing them in the morning.

If at any point it hurt too much, or if the skin around the wart got too sensitive, I would just take the cotton ball off and wait a few days before resuming treatment. It's a pretty forgiving method, and super effective. The warts turn black and just fall right off.

Warning: DO NOT PICK at the warts; let them come off on their own. I have absolutely no scarring except from one wart that I picked off before it was ready.

I understand that this treatment has taken a lot longer for some, but IT WORKS. If it's taking longer, I would recommend filing down the wart before applying ACV.

I've only gotten 2 new warts in the past two years, and they were also easily treated with ACV. Warts no longer scare me, because I know how to deal with them!

I promised myself I would write a review of this home remedy should it work, so here I am letting people know that if you do this right it will work to remove warts. I had had two ugly warts on my face for the last 5 years, one on my cheek and another by my nose, when I first got them I thought they were zits or something, then they weren't going away so I thought they were cysts, the last thing I wanted to accept was that they were warts, so I went for years with those ugly things on my face. I came across this webpage and all the stories of people with success in removing warts so I thought what the hell I am giving this a try. I picked up some cheap Apple Cider Vinegar it cost me less than $5, I used it full stregnth on small cotton ball the size of the wart by securing the cotton to the warts with bandaids. I wore this 24/7 for 3 days changing the bandaids and reapplying the ACV every 4 hours or so. The warts turned Red, then black. I kept on applying the ACV for another full day the wart by my nose peeled off, the one on my cheek hung on 1 more day but it too fell off. I am left with two pinkish color spots where the warts used to be 1 full week later. I suspect in a week or two the pink will vanish with more healing time. I did experience some stinging when I was applying the ACV, and I did burn skin around the wart by making the cotton ball too big a few times, if I ever have to do this again I will protect the skin around the wart by applying polysporin or vasiline to the healthy skin to protect it from the burning. I am so happy this cure worked for me, I just wish I had looked it up earlier and not spent years with bad facial skin. Good luck everyone.

I'd just like to add that I had a similar experience to Reallyworks. I had a deep, nickel-sized plantar wart on the ball of my foot for three years. I had it frozen twice by a podiatrist and then cut out (also by a podiatrist -- very slow and painful healing process) and all three times it came back. While trying to treat this wart (with filing and salicylic acid) I infected the tip of my right middle finger and got a large wart there too. I finally came across this site and started treating both warts with ACV. I bandaged the warts with ACV-soaked gauze nightly for about two weeks, and they turned black and eventually could be sloughed off. The finger was very painful during initial treatments, but my god, what a relief once they both were gone. My insurance company and I were billed well over $2000 for the medical procedures, and I probably went through four bottles of Dr. Scholl's salicylic acid before finding out about ACV. Really bizarre that docs don't tell patients about this extremely cheap and effective treatment!!

it worked! Siamese twin small warts on my ringer finger. I wet the cotton part of a bandaid with ACV and covered the warts. Used the bandaids that have sticky parts 360 degrees around the cotton part, which helped to keep the ACV moist longer. I changed and reapplied this set up whenever the ACV dried out or my bandaid seemed soaked with water from just normal washing of hands or dishes. I was probably diligent enough to wear this setup 80% of the time until it was gone, in about a week. I tried soaking the cotton ball and adhering it with a bandaid, but the sting was intense, so I just stuck with the bandaids. My warts were pretty small so this seemed ok. As others have said, it turned black within days and some skin layers began to fall off. Sometimes I would file it down if there was loose skin. Then it turned into a blood blister, which I popped. I guess I had to see if the wart was under it! It was not. The wart is now gone! It has been 5 weeks. I wish doctors knew this! It would alleviate so much unecessary wart angst.

I promised myself that I would take the time to write a detailed note if ACV ever cures my plantar wart on my heel. I am AMAZED it did. 3 years of almost anything possible: freezing, cantharidin, CO2 laser, pulsed dye laser, bleomycin - and finally ACV got rid of this unbelievable nuisance.

I will not write too much about the past treatments, it was a long and frustrating journey. I will just say that CO2 laser was a BIG mistake. (A few years ago I had a good past experience with pulsed dye laser and I thought that only one type of laser exists; the dermatologist I went to did not fully explain the procedure and when I saw smoke coming out of my foot it was too late - he used a CO2 laser on my heel- painful, useless and makes the wart MUCH more difficult to treat). I spent a year trying pulsed dye laser after I finally found it at Temple University but this time it did not work. The wart continued to grow and became unbearable. I still believe in PDL but it was probably the CO2 laser that made the wart very difficult to treat.

So, after I almost lost all hope, I came across this site as well as a mention of ACV in the Mayo clinic site. I decided to give it a shot. My wife is a physician/researcher and she made fun of me, as this is not a scientifically proven method- but I had nothing to lose.

Here is what I did every night:

(1) Shave the wart with an emery board. I found that the pumice stone is not effective. Also, I found that it is best to do it on a dry skin.

(2) Cut a piece of gauze and SOAK it in ACV. It needs to be dripping wet. Put it on the wart, secure it with a cloth tape and then cover everything with a duct tape. Do not press to hard as it will drip all over. My theory is that other destructive methods did not work because they were applied every 3-4 weeks and this thing just keeps penetrating and kills the skin/wart.

After the first few night (~5) all you see is a puffy white circle. I kept going. At some point, it starts to burn BADLY a few hours after you put it. The wart also turns black. More and more black every day. Keep going despite the pain. I used to go to sleep and it woke me up. It is VERY painful. No way you can continue sleeping. When I woke up in pain, I just removed everything, washed my foot and went back to sleep after a few minutes. In the morning, I put Mediplast (40% salicylic acid) it helped soften the skin for the next "treatment" at night and it is also an analgesic agent.

I kept doing this until I could not stand the pain anymore even in the morning (it was very hard to step on the foot). It took 2-3 weeks. I stopped then and allowed it to heal. After the first round I noticed that the wart had gotten MUCH smaller but it was still there. I was encouraged. I did another round of treatment for about 2 weeks. In the second round it took longer for the ACV to start burning and the black mark was much smaller. It did become painful though and at some point unbearable and I stopped.

Today I went to the podiatrist and she confirmed that the wart is gone. I am still in SHOCK. The described is my personal experience and not any recommendation for anybody to do anything. I will look at this forum in the next few days and try to answer questions, if any.

For a very stubborn plantar wart on the heel I tried ACV after reading about it here. Insanely, monumentally painful and did not work after 6 weeks despite appearing to be working - scrape back and there it was, happy as larry. If anything it seemed to be thriving.

I was determined to make it work so on top of following the method most people seem to use I also trimmed back the top (and later scab tissue) with a medical razor whenever that was feasible usually every couple of days. I used ACV with a cotton pad, covered with duct tape and further taped down with medical tape. Twice daily and left on for at least 3 hours. It gradually became insanely painful. As in I could not think or sit still. Luckily had time off. However I endured the pain because I thought it would work. It appeared to be dying, firstly little dead blood dots and then later gerneral scabbing which I removed to see fresh wart underneath, which I also removed as much as possible. Never, never ended.

I dont know what the ACV was doing - must have just been frying my deeper skin layers which is what caused the insane pain.

Did this for 6 weeks before admitting defeat. Off to dermatoligist to see about bettle juice.

Suggest those with a persistant heel plantar wart check out plantarwartwarrior at blogspot for a hilarious account that is eerily simliar to mine. Warts on the heel are the absolute most stubborn.

I am responding to the lady with little white scars from warts, I have stumbled across dermal rollering and I am in awe, be carefull of doing this if you have any flatwarts as they could spread. It will bring the pigment back after time. My flatwarts were everywhere after being misdiagnosed and given cortisones ( which will stimulate them as sugary foods will too... So the CURE IS APPLE CIDER VINEGAR from head to foot ( yes I stank) 1 month 3 times a day and now I dermal roller I want to upload a picture one day as I am 50 and my skin is better now than it ever was in my entire life. Clarins 20 sunblock everyday and argan oil at night. This really does work. I felt like a leper a year ago now I am so happy I found ACV simple but it WORKS be patient and keep at it.. Love and light to anyone out there who feels like I did. BE DETERMINED xxx

I'm in my third week of the cider vinegar thing with the mosiac warts & my huge wart has shrunk to about 1/3 of what it was. It is very painful at times after reapplying the vinegar & tape but will be worth it if it goes away & it looks as if it's working. Tried everything else including having the doc cut it out which was very painful, they came back in full force with friends so that didn't work but am seeing good results with the vinegar.
