My mother always told me to use a vinegar douche. It works great. Depends on how much you itch as to how strong you may want it.

Has anyone else tried using plain white vinegar? I drink ACV and am a big fan, but find the ordinary (much cheaper) white stuff works just as well externally.

Better But With Side Effects

I have had irregular bleeding now for 3 months, that I can cope with but the itching and dryness is driving me crazy even to tears sometimes. I have tried the ACV which eased the itching but caused more dryness, Chamomile tea ice cold also eased it. My problem now is that the feminine itch creams are no longer working as everything I try just gets socked up until I'm super dry again.

I'm about to try bathing in Rosemary and use olive oil to lubricate, will keep you posted on results, hopefully successful because I don't know how much longer I can take this :(

I have found apple cider vinegar applied externally with a damp wash cloth gives immediate relief and I can do this as much as I need to control the pH.

I have had very bad vaginal itching with no odor and no discharge for 3 days now. I got some yeast treatment to rule that out but it made no difference. This morning I thought I would go insane because the itching was so bad! I read on this site about Apple Cider Vinegar and how it can lower your ph levels. When I read that it occured to me that I probably have a super acidic level right now because I've been eating a LOT of Indian tomato soup for my cold and drinking orange juice. So, on an empty stomach this morning a drank 4 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar with warm water and some cinnamon for taste. After 1 hour my itching has completley gone away! I'm just burning from all the clawing I had been doing but I'm soo excited to have relief and to know about ph levels affecting that area!
