Seven Steps for Sweet Sleep

It is a miserable feeling to be exhausted, in bed, and unable to sleep. These seven steps can get you off to a good start for a peaceful night of rest. You may not to do every step, but do give the ones a try that you think will help!

1. Avoid Caffeine Later in the Day

Everyone is different. Some people cannot drink caffeine at all without it affecting their sleep. Others find that they can drink coffee or tea until afternoon without harming their sleep. Figure out if caffeine consumption is affecting your sleep.

2. Shut Down the Screens

Put your computers, phones and devices to sleep an hour before you plan to go to bed. Using a computer right before bed can leave your brain too stimulated to be able to fall asleep.
