The neti pot is THE BEST invention for excess nasal mucus. I absolutely love mine! I have a horrid sore throat (very, very painful) and horrid cough which is heading into my ears and I imagine eventually my nose. I used my neti pot a few minutes ago and even though I didn't feel stuffy, just a slight bit of occassional runniness I rinsed out some real ugly goobers - ha. Grey/beige booggies the size of Dallas - YUCCK! My ears are presently stuffed up so I'm hoping the neti helps, if not then I will pour a bit of peroxide into them for 5 min and then drain. I've also been doing self lymphatic massage. You can find video's on YOUTUBE to learn how. I've been gargling with cayenne which didn't work for me and I used fresh hot stuff at 90 BTU's; 1/4 tsp in a few TBS of warm h20. Been drinking lemon water with honey and cayenne, or vinegar water with honey and cayenne. Made homemade chicken soup with lots of onions and garlic - I used Jin Shin Jyutsu on myself several times, but still got sick and have been so for three days now. I cough up putrid thick, dense grey/beige gunk in the morning for 20 minutes, and in the afternoon. I am losing my voice from the sore throat and coughing so hard. I haven't tried fresh garlic because I'm out, maybe I'll call a friend in a few minutes to see if she can drop some by. Oops I forgot my son dropped off some essential oils, not sure what they are. He said to wipe around my nose and mouth to breath easier- let's hope for good things QUICKLY!! Also I put a nice warm Castor oil pack on my chest last night and my spleen area this morning.

Any other suggestions folks??? I'm going to Castor pack my spleen area again. And I don't eat sugar or wheat either, no cheese. A little cream with coffee or tea. Hugs, K
