Multiple Remedies for Morgellons

Sue (Hewitt, NJ) on 12/08/2025
5 out of 5 stars

I myself have been dealing with Morgellons for the past three years. It has been a nightmare. Between research, experimenting, trying many things, I have gradually have been able to live a somewhat normal life.
I will share with you things I have learned, but first, I will share with you how I stopped the movement under my skin, and the extreme itching in certain areas of my body.

Every night before I go to bed, I take a shower. I take a tall plastic cup, McDonalds to go cup, sprinkle about 1/2tsp. Of EDTA (Ted from Bangkok protocol) fill 1/2 of the cup with white vinegar, fill rest of way with hot water. Stir all together until mixed.

Jump into shower, start from head, gradually pour a little in hair, work through hair. Put a little into face, rub it all over, through eyebrows, eyes nose, ears, work down to neck. Continue rubbing it over arms stomach. Pour some over your back, rub in what you can reach. Continue this pattern all the way down your legs, to your toes.. Then shower as usual.

Dry as usual. Now take coconut oil add a few drops of Lugols iodine and mix together in hand with with a squirt of aloe Vera. Rub this starting from your face, ears, neck, all the way to your toes. This will start killing the unseen Morgellons that are living in your pores, and the Morgellons living under the skin. The Lugols iodine kills the Morgellons ion the body. Using the coconut oil is a good carrier oil to penetrate the skin. The aloe Vera helps heal the skin. Doing this everyday, took me about three months to see and feel such a big difference. It stopped the movement, I felt on my right arm, and the back of my buttocks.

I discovered when I had the most trouble with Morgellons, is when the humidity in the house gets too low. I bought me a little humidity gauge, on my dresser that I bought on Amazon. I also bought a good size humidifier that I keep plugged in full of water in winter. Humidity levels in house should be between 39-50. Ideally, I found 40 to be just right. Morgellons is magnetic and becomes airborne when the air becomes too dry. For some reason, those of us, who have trouble with Morgellons, unlike others around us, we are magnetic or static. I notice, when the air is too dry, I can feel the hair on my legs stand up. I bought a grounding mat, that I put under my sheet, to sleep on every night.

Instead of washing and changing my sheets everyday, I use a lint roller on my sheets and pillows. I got tired of using a lint roller on bottom and top sheets. So I only use a bottom sheet, and use a duvet cover over my comforter. That I wash once a week. Then lint roll each night before I go to bed. I was wearing myself out with so much laundry, I was doing.

Heat nor cold seems to kill Morgellons. I discovered that 2 T. Ammonium chloride, 1/4 C. Enzymes along with your clothes detergent, soaking for 5 minutes, kills and dissolves Morgellons. Bleach does not kill the spores of Morgellons, ammonium chloride kills it, enzymes dissolves it.

Morgellons can live in dryer, so always clean the lint out thoroughly and place in double sealed gallon or sandwich baggies.

I keep my clothes in double sealed gallon baggies in air tight bins, I bought on Amazon. It is a nightmare, getting dressed in clothes that you put on and start getting bit everywhere on your body, because the Morgellons infested your clean clothes.

I use thicker vinyl table clothes to cover my upholstered chairs before I sit down. Much easier than having to vacuum my furniture everyday.
I tried to use air purifiers with special filters, it seem to only help Morgellons to become airborne. I noticed a tremendous difference when a I bought the small plug in air purifiers that kill dust mites. It works, it kills the Morgellons that are airborne. I now have one in each room and my basement.

I used to feel my feet and my legs being nipped and bit all the time. Not anymore. I vacuum all my floors and come back and mop them with a bucket full of warm water with 1T. Ammonium chloride and a quick splash of citra solve cleaner. It is orange or limonene cleaner. I believe they were also multiplying on my floors with some type of biofilm. This dissolves the biofilm on my floors, while the Lugols iodine breaks down the biofilm on our skin.

I keep a small spray bottle full of rubbing alcohol, that I spray my shoes when I take them off. Before I put my shoes on, I spray again all the inside with rubbing alcohol. No more getting bites when I put on my shoes.

I only eat GF flour, and use stevia for my sweetener. Occasionally may have real maple syrup or a little honey, only in morning or middle of day. Never near night time. Morgellons becomes active in evening, nocturnal during the day. Morgellons love gluten and sugar. Many times when I would have a fiber come out of my feet or head, that stinging sensation, was always when I had cheated and eaten something with a lot of gluten and sugar.

I took wheat, sugar out of my diet. I take 1 T of black seed oil a day on a empty stomach.

I am so much better now. I have come a long way. I may have PTSD for the rest of my life, but I feel I can keep living again.

Morgellons

I hesitate to post a remedy because everything I put online they pull off the market... but Artemisinin.. a derivative of wormwood.. much stronger should work well on this... only use for 2 weeks at a time and don't overdo it... I notice its getting harder to find because Big Pharma hates it when you can get around buying their over-priced toxic products..

Detox, Eat Alkaline for Morgellons

Mary (Tucson, AZ) on 12/20/2021

To rid yourself of morgellons: two things. Detox, and eat alkaline food only for the rest of your life.

At first, eating alkaline is difficult, but after a few months, you feel so good, the misery you have been going through is gone. The fungus HATES alkaline, it thrives on acid and heavy metals.

So to detox, chlorella and spirulina are life changing. There are lots of detoxes out there, but these worked for me. Coconut oil is anti-fungal, so applying it over your body feel great and the fungi HATE it. Guaranteed to work. Forget the AMA, they will not help. Need to be self sufficient! Stay strong

Goat Milk Soap for Morgellons

I’m really confused why this hasn’t been set as a standard for curing and treating Morgellons. You need to use goat or donkey milk probiotic soap made with yogurt (google search to find). You need to soak in goat milk and sour cream. You can also add plain yogurt, evaporated milk, buttermilk, and powdered milk all work. I would do 4-5 long soaks a week. It’s important to always use a goat or donkey milk moisturizer on your entire body daily. Internally you should be taking a lot of MCTs. Caprylic acid 3 times daily, monolaurin acid, undecyclic acid, and grape seed extract. All 3 times daily. And stick with it. Most if not all symptoms will subside by 8-10 weeks. Just 4 weeks in is amazing. Also continue to treat and clean your environment. Purchase cheap air purifiers on Amazon or eBay. If you can afford it get an ozone water treater and treat all clothing and bedding. Soak all linens in tub with ozone air stone for a few hours. There also a probiotic all purpose concentrated home cleaner. Continue to always clean your house with probiotics or ozone water. They eventually just leave. It’s hard to believe, but they do.

I took the cotton off the end of a Q-tip and saturated it with 3 percent Hydrogen Peroxide to apply to a spot on my face. I pulled the cotton apart and was looking in a strong magnifying mirror and noticed the fibers were moving? What is this? I’ve seen videos of people reporting this on other products so I was really alarmed!

Diatomaceous Earth for Morgellons on Scalp

For Morgellons in the scalp to control those little black bugs.I went online at Amazon and brought a 10 pound bag of Diatomaceous Earth food grade. I was so desperate bc I had brought everything for my scalp and they were in my eyes and nose. So I washed my hair with Neutrogena tea tree oil, then I took a cup over and mixed it in with the shampoo.Got it nice and gooey. That really helps me bc with the DE on my scalp they were moving but they didn't run to my face and eyes and ears. I put a plastic cap in my head. Remember to not let it dry out. Keep it saturated. I'm waiting on my edta to come so I can put that in my head. But I don't understand what Ted said about using edta with water to make a soap. Can someone please tell me how to put the edta on my head?? And please simplify it. Thank u.

Morgellons,

If you live in US, may want to try pineglo. Available at Walmart or dollar store. I Decon clothes by placing clothes in, placing washer in heavy load and hot water. When water level is 1/2 to 3/4 I put 1/4 to half bottle depending on load. Allow it to move and stop washer for 30 minutes. Then resume cycle. The wash with soap and borax. Allowing to sit for 30 or more minutes then resume the cycle. I also put Lysol laundry disinfectant. The dry hot with softener strip. I place underwater and sleeping wear in food deal bags. Has worked well. I also use stick paper to clean sheets daily. In room I use an IBC light. I leave the room, at it is dangerous for people, animals or plants.

Hope it helps. Use HEPA vacuum.

Neem Oil for Morgellons

I looked at what neem does to morgellons under the microscope, and the moving morgellons threads don't move after the neem is added. They don't even stand up and sort of shrivel a bit. After researching other essential oils, such as mint and eucalyptus, the most effective blend is eucalyptus with neem three drops of each in a 4oz spray bottle. Use topically all over. It smells lemony, maybe there is a connection with also using the lemon essential oil as a great alternative.

Multiple Remedies for Morgellons

I began itching 5 months ago and thought I had scabies. Kaiser could not find a diagnosis and told me I had a bug phobia, wanted to put me on Prozac and send me to a psych.

I went to an outside doctor as Kaiser could not find anything in a biopsy. Cedars Sinai indicated that Keratinocytes were growing under my skin. I presented this to the state of California and Kaiser was told to pay my outside bills.

I am reporting what has worked for me.

I found out 2 months ago that I have morgellons after believing I had scabies for 3 months.

KLEEN-Free Naturally, Super Concentrated (Amazon) will heal up lesions. I bathed two times a day, adding one cup of the enzymes. (20-25 min)

After 3 weeks, the lesions began to heal and the biting sensations dramatically ceased. Now, I do it once a day and also do a bath with organic laundry detergent and 1/4 cup of alfalfa powder. This has been advertised on radio shows as well as a gal who said it healed her on Amazon. Each bath is 20-25 minutes. (warm water is OK, does not need to be HOT) Once you are done with the alfalfa bath, drain tub, and soap down with Dr. Bonner's peppermint castille soap. My skin is feeling great. I am rarely itching anymore, but I use coconut oil, eucalyptus essential oil, clove, neem, etc. to lubricate my skin. Shea butter and vaseline work as well.

I also take ivermectin every week, supplied by an American Frontline Doctor - Dr. Weinstein 1-888-329-0120. I purchase it from Canadian Pharmacy, they will send the prescription there for you. 1-855-872-3485. It is very inexpensive.

Watch the Amazon Prime documentary - Skin Deep, The Battle over Morgellons. You will find the names of doctors who will help you. Dr. Raphael Stricker in San Francisco; Ginger Savely in Washington DC. I just spoke with DNP Savely and she sent me her natural protocol.

I also detoxed with Dr. Schulze's Detox -- herbdoc.com or (Amazon) speak with a representative but I used Intestinal #1, and Intestinal #2. I am now using 35 for Life which is building my immune system. You can order it here: 714-485-2299. In the middle of the night, I take 4 activated charcoal pills. Needs to be on a completely empty stomach. (can be taken 3 hours after dinner)

CUT OUT sugar, carbs, bread, wheat, corn, dairy, fruit. Do not eat more than 10 carbs per day. Eat eggs, grass fed beef, organic meats, boars head sugarless meats from the deli. Eat vegetables, salads, homemade dressing with olive oil, lemon juice, seasonings. My treat every day is an almond milk latte - no sugar! Ryvita rye crisp crackers are fine and I smother them with butter or avocado. Butter is fine. I will eventually eat an apple, but I am not ready for it yet as I feel so much better without sugar. About 4 times a week, I get a vegetable juice from my grocery store, with extra lemon, ginger and NO apple.

Borax Bath for Black Specks

Does anyone know what are the black specks? I recently started having itchy skin on the upper right hands side of my back and neck. It did not go away for a few weeks... I bought a microscope and was shocked to see the skin very red. And then I suspected this might be morgellons. I followed the advice to take a Borax bath and saw many black specks on the bottom? What are they? Can one get rid of Morgellons/nano/black specks? Or is this an ongoing thing forever? Please help! Thank you

Morgellons = Parasites

Darlene (Parkland, FL) on 04/20/2021
5 out of 5 stars

I live in Florida with my husband and 3 kids. Life was perfectly normal until I took in a deathly ill call from a wildlife preserve. Within a month -first, I thought I had a panic attack cause my heart was erratic. Then I felt generally nauseous. Then the crawling I thought it was fleas, then lice, then scabies ..it can make a perfectly healthy person insane very quickly. It was everywhere. My hair, ears, nose, arms, back, stomach, privates. It has no boundaries. I tried everything. Lice treatments, repellents, bleach baths, every lotion you can think of, essential oils, neem, garlic, I dipped myself and pets in Lime sulfur. 9 months of torture. I lost 24 lbs. Insomnia. My family saw it all, but every doctor can't see it. If you mentioned crawling, the Drs write you off as crazy. They won't treat anything, not it the “textbooks.”

It's probably 3 am, and you're desperately searching for an answer, so I'll cut to what worked for me.

You have a parasite.

If things are coming out of your skin, it could be Schitosmias or Filariasis. (Cutaneous, intestinal or urinary ) look them up. See if your symptoms match or not.
1- take control. Get online and order your own labs. Stool tests, Lyme panel, parasites panel, and filariasis. Parasite urine test. Requestatest.com. Approx $600 for all. If you can get a dr to do it, then great. But I was tired of running to the “experts “ while I was suffering, and my family caught it. If you want to go the dr route - look up travel medicine doctors on zoc doc. They will know a lot more than regular drs.
2- get the vials from the labs.
3- take Reese pinworm medication 3 days in a row. Start ParaSmart or any other 15 day cleanse you like. But get one with good reviews.
Check stools daily. If they' are there you'll know it. If it's a common worm it will show up in the stool or blood test. If it's not - it won't. Only common worms are in O&P tests. It gets tricky to get a diagnosis if it not a common parasite.
4- if you are not able to get a diagnosis from your doctor- parasite cleanse for 3 months. It's the only way to kill live ones, then larvae, last month is hatched eggs. Then do a 15 day cleanse every 6 months - forever.
5- if things are coming out of your skin you are contagious via the eggs hand to mouth. It's almost impossible to not to
Use your hands - no hands in chip bags, taking pills, washing Vegatables. Etc. I know because 4 people got infected even though I moved into my own room and bathroom and didn't let anyone near me. Still if you cook their food they can get it or if you have pets and you see the signs they have it - it's almost impossible to stop the cycle. They are all shedding eggs too and each of you on a different cycle.
6- if you have pets - they need both Pravecto and Praziquantel which you have to insist they get. Also 3 treatments- 1 each month. I'm not a dr or a vet. But this is what has worked for me after so much research trail and error, talking to drs and vets and a lot of money.
7- only wear clothes once and change sheets and towels every day. Wear clothes so you don't leave on chairs, couches etc. Double dry with dryer sheets. The stuff on your body can come off in clothes etc. Spray high touch surfaces with disinfectant. Vacuum every day. If they are scratching and the vet can't figure out why, and you may see white things that look like litter in their beds, it's them. Don't let them sit on your furniture. Use sheets and change daily.
8- your goal is always to get a diagnosis from a dr. But I know they write you off as crazy, or they don't want the liability of treating something and “refer “ you to another dr. Skip regular drs. Only travel medicine drs will know.

Some things that help but are not the cure:

1- Vaseline to suffocate them out
2- sulfur 10 ointment to suffocate them out
3- pure garlic essential oil and oregano essential oil with hydrated coconut oil 50/50.
4- sterifab for cleaning - even your car
5- Vicks vapor rub for ears and nostril to keep them away.
6- AD ointment for privates to keep them away.
Do those areas first before any thing else.
7- neutragena coal tar shampoo for 10 minutes gets them out of hair but then yikes! All in the back where you can't reach.
8- saline nose spray - big can with lavender. If it's bad use Navage nasal cleanser as much as possible.
9- ivermectin- go to plush.com. Tell them you have scabies and permathrin didn't work and can you have a dose of ivermectin.

Always try to get the right diagnosis. But a cleanse can only help anyway.
If you live with someone - Assume they have it and treat every one at once.

Best of Luck for a speedy recovery.

Ivermectin for Suspected Morgellons

xiusiq (TX) on 04/10/2021
5 out of 5 stars

I experienced a skin condition in about late January 2020. It happens that I am familiar with morgellons prior to my experience. I am a long time follower of earth clinic and ted.

There was a sensation sometimes biting my toes. like a flea or something. I paid attention whenever it would happen. Then one evening when I was paying attention to the biting sensation, I felt a vicious bite on my cuticle of my toe that I about jumped out of my skin. I searched multiple times, turning light to see, only nothing; using a flashlight to try catch in the act, nothing. there was always nothing to be seen. I put bug lotion with permethrin and white larva looking things came out of the skin legs, arms apparently microscopic, there were the seedlike things also along my hairline eyebrows, they looked like sesame seeds. I had never seen or heard of anything like it (a former science major I liked microbiology).

I was not able to resolve this on my own initially, I tried to see MD at a clinic and he wouldn't diagnose and didn't even try. I was losing a lot of sleep every night. Seemed they knew when it was dark in that way it seemed like scabies but it wasn't. I read what I could do. I don't necessarily recommend this but it was what worked. I mixed permethrin home professional strength buy chemical into lotion (I calculated to get 3% in the cream). slept in it. washed the next day. washed sheets, clothes etc, didn't wear more than 1 time, washed bedding after one use. stayed off the furniture. I treated the whole room with chemicals because I didn't know what it was and where it came from.

The above helped but it wasn't enough. I showered using borax laundry booster like a body scrub, washed my face with it too. Not on hair, it is hard on the hair. It is a salt, leaves skin really soft.

I kept reading as the treatment would work temporarily, but after a day or two it would return. I read about ivermectin and decided to try it. It is available in pill form in other countries but not really in the US. There are other postings of how much to take. have to do your own search if you are going to try.

I took the dose for my weight, on day 1, day 2, and again on day 8; then 3 months later and 1 year later. whatever it was died off, my skin was expelling something from the layers like little pimples in a few cluster areas. Though there was no more evidence of the problem the sores took a long time to heal and the skin flaked weirdly, this kept on, some months later I had a respiratory infection and was prescribed an antibiotic, I think it was doxycyline. The skin finally started healing normally. I have scars on my arm they are not terrible I hope they continue to fade.

I later saw a video on YouTube, some fellow from UK filming things crawling out of his arms. They look just like whatever I had going on. He had been going at this for 7 years and he has not figured how to rid of it. He is in Mexico now. He was lured out there with the promise of a cure and stuck there now. In his videos he puts oil on his skin and they just come out. That's how it happened to me also. So I got through my ordeal the worst of it in 3 weeks, the skin didn't settle down until I took the antibiotic. I was looking up what it could have been and I'm still not sure but I think it could have been strongyloids which is a microscopic nematode which is a worm-like creature.

This experience I had was torturous. I am glad I somehow found a remedy. I hope this helps someone.

Dietary Changes Helpful for Morgellons

Morgellons: I have had this for a few months only. I found that ivermectin helped with the initial horrifying outbreak, and now I am on a protocol of various vitamins and supplements, plus bio-active silver. The silver helps a lot...when I feel a bite or pricking sensation in my skin, I rub a little silver water on it, and it goes away. Also seems to help heal my skin. Changing my diet has been hugely helpful--no sugar (no fruit except lemons and limes, no maple syrup on honey), no carbs (no bread, rice, potatoes, etc., only a tiny amount of lentils sometimes), no grains, no dairy, only organic meats, veggies, eggs, almond milk, plus lots of water and herbal teas (green tea.) No coffee or caffeine. I once went off my diet, because I was feeling so good, and had a major relapse...so diet is key. It's hard in the beginning, but you lose your cravings for sugar soon..and it stabilizes your appetite. I can easily go from lunch to dinner without wanting an afternoon snack or caffeine which is a first for me. I've lost 20 pounds effortlessly, too.
