I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, so I'll share my experience here.

I had molluscum for a few months. After the first contact it took about a month or two and then they started developing as plain bumps and then after about two months developed into the fully developed white bumps. There were still new bumps developing after about three or four months.

I tried a lot of different treatments before and after they had fully developed. I tried ACV as the first thing I try for any skin issues which can help for normal skin maintenance, but it didn't help much. I tried Lugols iodine at various strengths, which was very, very painful at high strengths, and did not seem to be effective. The skin would peel off, but the moluscum did not seem to be much affected.

Then I found what seems to work very effectively with no pain is methylene blue, plus red light. Methylene blue 0.1%. And a red light panel with whatever the most effective wavelength is, something around 680nm.

Be careful, the methylene blue can stain everything it touches. So use some towels or clothing that you don't worry about being stained blue. I used a dropper to apply the methylene blue and then spread it around with my hand. I basically took a week off to be stained blue all over.

The infected skin seems to absorb more methylene blue and became more blue than the surrounding healthy skin. And then the red light further affects the blue parts and seems to preferentially kill the viruses. The red light also seems to help skin heal wounds faster. Use the red light for 30-60 minutes, up to several times a day. The molluscum white bumps seemed to heal up in about a week. For fully developed ones, the white core would seem to fall out. For smaller ones I think they seem to come to a head and the white core would also fall out faster. The blue color from the methylene blue wears off after about a week

After the treatment no recurrences after two years.
