Just an update. After using the ACV on my skin colored facial mole, I can tell you I now have no scar. There was a crater and I was freaking, but after 4 months it filled in nicely. Used silicone, and Ted's remedy of honey and nutmeg. No mark, not redness, no scar.
I have since used the ACV and Lugols iodine methods to remove moles. Lugols's looked like it worked but the mole came back in about 6 months. It also left a scar that is still visible. For me, the ACV method works the best, but everyone is different.
Here is my advice:
1.) Experiment first on a mole on your body to see what works for you. 2.) Protect the skin around the mole. 3.) Scratch and rough up the mole. 4.) Be patient, don't freak out. Things will look bad, but if you do not form keloids, you will probably heal better than you expect.
I stumbled across this web site quite accidentally. I had a pea sized mole on my right cheek which I had hated for years. I decided to try the ACV. For the first three days I used vaseline around the mole and left a small piece of cotton ball soaked in ACV on 24/7 secured with a bandaid. I changed it frequently throughout the day and before bed. Within 4 days the mole scabbed and on the fifth day it fell off. The skin around where the mole had been was a little red so I used an antibiotic cream and a bandaid overnight. This took the redness away. I can still feel some of the core of mole and there is a small part that is not completely gone. My plan is to now dab ACV on with a q-tip several times a day to get rid of the last bit of the mole. Thank you so much for this site. To be rid of this mole after all these years so simply and so inexpensively is wonderful.
I tried the apple cider vinegar method to remove a mole on my belly. I roughed up the mole and applied the ACV with a cotton ball taped into place with band-aids, twice a day for 2-3 weeks. The mole sort of dissolved away, but always left a red spot, not just normal skin. I didn't start using vaseline (later, virgin coconut oil) on it right away, though. Maybe that is the problem, because the red area has turned into a keloid scar that is not going away, though I have been applying pure vitamin E oil to it morning and evening. It has been a couple of months...any suggestions, please??!! Thanks to all who write with various issues. This is a phenomenal website!
My girlfriend tried ACV on a cotton swab after scoring her 2 facial moles. They both left leaving craters in her face. She could handle the craters (because she knew they'd heal)but now the moles are coming back, which she's not too happy about. Especially since they already came back once before with a vengeance (getting bigger) after a failed attempt using H2O2.
i tried the acv on two moles i have on my back ive had for years since i was a child. one on the center of my back that is about the size of a pencil eraser and one slightly raised on the bottom of my back. I filed both moles with an emery board and dabbed with a qtip some apple cider vinegar on both everyday for about a week and kept them covered with band aids im on about day 5 now and the moles havnt really changed except the biggest one on the center which is really sore and gotten bigger im a little worried and unsure if i should carry on is this normal. I have had a raised mole about the size of a lentil under the right corner of my mouth since birth. Never bothered me, though it grew slightly larger as I aged, and for the last few years I have thought about removing it -- but did not want to pay several hundred dollars to have it done by a doctor. Having seen a side view of it, while having my hair cut recently, I decided I was ready to say goodbye to it.
Natural home remedies are always my first line of defense, so when I went on the internet and came across all the positive results using ACV I laughed at how simple this could be.
I followed instructions roughing the skin up. I didn't have any unused sand-paper or emory boards -- so I used (LOL)a small piece if a cracker with a very rough surface. It did the trick, so I then applied the ACV with the tip of a cotton swab, dabbing for several minutes until it formed a hard black scab. I soaked a small piece of a cotton pad and covered the mole with it using some regular clear tape to secure it and slept with it.
The following day, I wasn't sure if I had roughed up the undersides of the mole(as it was raised)so I sterilized some cuticle scissors and scraped around the mole with the sharp tips -- again applying the ACV with a swab -- and again covering it with the soaked cotton pad.
Foolishly, I did not apply petroleum jelly to the surrounding skin, so the area became quite burned and inflamed. ACV is VERY strong, and I probably used too much, too soon -- so for the next few days I used only a little hydrogen peroxide to cleanse the area and vitamin E to heal the skin.
The mole had formed such a hard tight scab that I became doubtful it would come off. But I hung in there, and after a week it became loose enough to remove with a little prodding. There was still a trace of the mole underneath and since it was slightly raw I applied the ACV again with a swab.
There is a much smaller scab there, at present, I feel confident that the rest of the mole will come off, or at worst, will be greatly diminished. I will post back with the complete results.
Just wanted to let you know i had a BIG mole on one side of my waist, ugly and blackish... i have used a cotton meche soaked in ACV to keep it wet for about 5 days - changed the cotton every evening and morning. I did not scratch it with needles or anything. It stang a bit and it was kinda painful (more like uncomfortable). The 6th day when taking a bath, it peeled off! Left an ugly scar for the moment but i'll keep you posted on how it develops, as it's only yesterday that this happened! Good luck and thanks.

Ok, so I decided to rid myself of a very unattractive mole on the left side of my face, on my hairline. I brought my trusty bottle of acv to work (yes, work...I'm not so inclined to slap a piece of duct tape on my face to secure a stinky piece of acv soaked cotton while trying to sleep). Sitting cautiously behind my computer, so as not to pique the curiosity of my co-workers, I soaked a q-tip in the acv and applied it directly to the mole. I then sat and read Earth Clinc posts for ten minutes or so (hope the IT staff were on break). I started this self-inflicted facial hooplah three days ago and only did it once a day and today...it's gone! Of course, it looked like I had a science experiment growing on the side of my face for a couple days! It enlarged and turned blood red on day one, as if it were going to put up a fight (puh-LEEZE) and then it scabbed up and turned black the following day. As I read it it's last rites, it simply fell off! I swear I heard it whisper "I'll beee baaack" but ain't NO MOLE strong enough to withstand the power of pure, undiluted acv!
PS. Should you choose to do this at work, be prepared to answer the repeatedly asked question: WHAT'S THE HECK IS THAT SMELL?????
First of all, I was skeptical Apple Cider Vinegar would work- i'm not going to lie! But over the last six years I had seen two dermatologists about a mole on the very end of my nose. Both of whom tried to remove the mole by means of freezing, and shaving. Both times it came back. Its been quite the journey for that little guy...but I really wanted to get rid of him. So, I gave ACV a try after reading this site. Started the regime a little over a week ago with scratching the mole with the broken end of a toothpick, essentially roughing up the surface a little then applied a cotton swap about the same size of the mole soaked in ACV over the it aplied a band-aid to hold it in place over night. Did this three nights in a row. The first day it bubbled a little. Nothing too noticeable. Second day after I took off the band-aid in the am. it has scabbed over looking black. (just like everyone said it would.) the third day I took a hot shower and afterward i peeled the scab right off and it left a crater sized hole. Honestly, I looked like a mess - but i prevailed and by the fourth day I could already see the damaged skin reviving itself and starting to heal. Today its day 8 and you can hardly see anything. My skin is looking healthy. I'm thrilled. In the back of my head Im worried that some how it'll come back just like it has in the past, but only time will tell. I am truly amazed it worked. Also, truly grateful to have found this site!
I used acv on the side of my face near my left eye using acv for about 5 days with a small piece of cotton saturated with acv and covered with a bandaid. The mole turn black and scab I could feel the acv burning. The mole fell off and left a red mark and scar. I put lavender oil on during the day and Ted's remedy of honey and nutmeg at night on the scar. It's been almost 2 months. The red is gone and the scar is starting to go away...I don't think the scar will go away completely, but a little powder does cover it up. I'm really happy with the results.
ATT: To let everyone know this was my fault for not protecting my face with VASELINE around the mole. I have another mole on my face and I will use VASELINE :>) this time. Good Luck to everyone!
ACV got rid of my mole in minutes! I had a mole -the kind that's raised and rough to the touch- grow within the last month or so on my front torso. It was itchy and had grown enough that it was bothersome.
I'd read somewhere that if I doused a cotton ball with ACV and just rubbed the mole, it would come off.
I tried it last night: doused a cotton ball and started rubbing the mole.
At first just flecks of the mole started to come off. Then after about four minutes of gently rubbing the mole and 3-4 cotton balls later, half the mole was gone! It was disintegrating little by little -kind of like a scab would- and I was a little worried because although it wasn't bleeding, it was leaving a red/bloody 'footprint' on my skin. There was a little blood on the cotton balls which turned the cotton ball dark brown (i assume the reaction of the blood with the vinegar) but other than that, it took about EIGHT minutes for the mole to be completely OFF!
I wiped the newly mole-free area with one more swipe of a cotton ball and put on a small bandage to keep it from chafing from my shirt while I slept.
Right now, a day later, it looks like it's scabbing. I 'cleaned' it again today with another swipe of ACV and it stung, but subsided.
I don't know what'll happen, or if it'll grow back, so we'll see, but I would rather have this scab than that itchy nasty raised mole!
I did not do what most have done, which is to leave the cotton ball on for days; I just literally rubbed the mole off in minutes. Not sure if that would work for everyone.

I had a good size mole on my right temple. Mine also seemed to swell or enlarge and turn lighter in color before scabbing and falling off. I did not do the bandaid route, instead I went in the bathroom several times a day and held ACV to the mole via a q-tip. It took almost two weeks, but it is totally gone tonight! I did finally "scratch" the area before applying the AVC and this sped things up. I had people left and right telling me to "have that thing removed!" I am so happy to say...the mole/wart is gone! I used tweezers to remove the scabbing....as the edges would darken I would peel them off....the mole shrunk and finally tonight came off. Hang in there! I hope this helps!!
To the person who had the itchy mole, before they started the AVC treatment. You should still go to a dermatologist and have the spot where the mole was checked. As you said the mole seemd to come out of no where and itched. Its not usually a good sign when a mole start to itch all by itself. It could be turning into melanoma. Its better to be safe than sorry and have suspicious itchy, bleeding or irregular colored moles checked out by a dermatologist as soon as these symptoms appear. As melanoma is an aggressive cancer.
I recently read about Castor Cream and Apple Cider Vinegar used for removing moles, so I tried one of each on two different moles on my neck.
I applied both for a couple of hours each day for about two weeks (using a soaked cotton pad of ACV, held with a bandaid, and simply applying the Castor Oil with Baking Soda on the other).
While the castor cream seems to have little effect, the ACV definitely worked. A couple of days after the tip of the mole scabbed I felt the mole with my hand, scratched it a bit and it felt as if the scab just fell off. I went to check it in the mirror to find that the whole mole itself actually fell off!
I stumbled upon this website by accident about 6 months ago. I have tried several of the suggestions mentioned for different ailments and they have all worked. I tried the remedy for mole removal using organic apple cider vinegar from the health food store. I had this ugly mole on my neck and I must say that after soaking a cotton ball and applying it to the mole at night for 5 days, securing it with a bandaid, I am mole free. Thank you so much for that helpful suggestion. I have also been using the organic apple cider vinegar on my melasma (face) applying it directly on the skin using a cotton ball and it has lighten the areas on my cheeks and forehead. I think in a few months the melasma will have faded completely.
I cannot believe how well this worked! Last week I swear a mole popped up on my back outta nowhere. It was itchy and very annoying. I was seriously considering going into a doctor to see about having it removed. I've had 2 kids, a little shot in the back shouldn't bother me too much, but I absolutely hate going to the doctor. So, I googled natural mole removal and found out about acv and then found this site. After reading just about every feedback that was listed on the site, I figured why not give it a try. I can always go to the doctor if it doesn't work.
I started this on Sunday afternoon. I used one of those cotton rounds that you usually use to take off nail polish with. I folded it into quarters, put it over the top of my acv bottle and put some on it much like when I put nail polish remover on it. I then took a slightly larger bandaid and this little triangle fit perfectly on the center of it. Put it on my back and let it do it's work. I changed it again before I went to bed, and took it off when I woke up, and kept on going. The only time that I went without it was when I went somewhere, and as soon as I got home, I reapplied.
It's now Wednesday evening, and the mole is virtually gone. It's been painless. I have a little red mark where the scab fell off, but it is soooo much better have this irritating little mole driving me nuts when my shirt rubs on it or while trying to sleep. I have had no burning of the skin whatsoever. I imagine some are much more sensitive to things, but I've never had issues like that. I'm so happy this worked, because iodine is not an option for me since I am allergic to it. The only thing about it is that acv has a strong smell and my husband thought it was hilarious that I smelled like salt and vinegar potato chips. HA!
I have a couple of more moles that I want to try this one, but will wait until I get back home after being gone this coming weekend. I'm still leery about trying to do one on my face, but I think I'll try that as well. :) I also used a cheap store brand bottle of acv.
I am on my third day of the ACV mole treatment. I am treating 7 moles. 3 look good (turning black scabbing etc) However another 3 of them look bigger and slightly lighter than before. They look inflammed. Has this happened to anyone? I am not sure if I should continue the ACV treatments. I really want this to work and want the moles gone.
Please help! I used ACV on a small mole on my face (above my lip). I was extra careful in only putting the ACV on the mole and covering the surrounding area with vaseline. My mole is scabbing over after one day; however, I am experiencing SO MUCH inflammation around the site. Is this normal? My skin is all red and inflammed around the mole. I am concerned. Basically i had 3 moles on my face which were about half the size of the end of a pencil erazer. So i read all the stuff on here about using apple cider vingar, so i thought i might aswell give it a shot so i did.
But before i applied the vingear, btw i used normal white vingear that was the only 1 at my house at the time. So basically i cut my moles quite alot using a scissor untill they were bleeding... your probably wondering how i cut them up.. but basically how i cut them was using EMLA cream 5mg, its basically a local anaesthesia cream which is available from chemists without prescription :D:D. I applied it onto my moles for 1 hour, untill the moles and skin around the moles got numb and then i cut them up abit with a scissor.
Once that was done i got a bottle of vinegar, took the cap off... and held the entire bottle of vingear on each of my moles for about 20mins each it burnt abit but the vinger penetrated the moles straight away coz the moles were cut up :D. in about 7 hours i noticed the moles went black but were still abit soft... then about 24 hours later they became hard and scabby... i didnt peel them at all.
4 days later whilst applying vaseline the mole scabs were healing up and then it just peeled right off! a slight pinkish scar but u cant even notice it honestly.... its the best method to be honest!!! and u dnt have the headache of using a bandaid everyday...!
btw i only used the vinegar for 20mins! and that was it... i didnt even need to use a bandaid and soaked cotton wool for 1week like the rest of the people here...
hello my name is mikal i'm from phenix city alabama. I was born with a large mole on my neck. I was always made fun of in school cause of it. It measured at a size of a dime i found this web site and i saw the (apple cider vinegar) I said to myself i've got to try it so i went and got the items and started using them it has been three days and it has gotten alot smaller .I'm happy now knowing that its not going to be there much longer I'm just going to keep using it until its gone. I had this mole on my face for as long as I remember. I'm simply writing to share my amazement with how the method worked in removing my mole! I scraped the mole with a clean needle and then I applied vaseline on the skin around the mole. Then I took a cotton ball and soaked it in Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) product. I placed it directly on the mole and taped it down with normal tape. I left it on 1 hour and then washed it and took it off. I did this for a week however I didn't do it every single day (I did it every other day and I was skeptical so pretty much I thought I was wasting my time). The mole dried up and fell off. There is a tiny pink spot but I can cover it with even pressed powder. I'm sure it will disappear though.
I am still amazed! I had a large brown freckle/mole (about 1/4 inch) on my chest. I'd had it checked by a dermotologist to make sure it was benign (it was), however, it seemed to be getting slightly larger every year. Used the ACV technique I found here: saturating a small piece of cotton/placing on mole/covering with bandaid/leaving overnight. Did this about half a dozen times, and not even on consecutive nights. Was amazed how the mole came off in layers. Each morning, after showering, I'd dab with some hydrogen peroxide. When the last layer fell off, the skin underneath was slightly pink, and now I can't even tell where the thing was. Fabulous!! Thanks EC and to everyone who posted this cure :D
Apple Cider Vinegar removed two flat very dark moles in about two weeks. I applied the ACV overnight consecutively for about a week and a half, and once they both scabbed up (they became very black and a little hard), I did not touch them. Then a week later, both fell off! The skin is still red, but both moles are completely gone. The most importnat thing is is that you don't pull at the scab and take it off yourself too early, otherwise you might only get half the mole and it increases the risk of scarring. You really have to be patient, and put up with the scabs until they fall off. Thank you soo much Earth Clinic, I love this site!! :)
ACV Removed my pea size mole in 2 1/2 days only a small red area left that is turning lighter every day, I recomend trying ACV it is cheap and does not take that long, Plus there is very little pain through the whole process.
So i tried this, and it did remove my mole, BUT it wasn't completely off, so now its a big scar with tiny moles under the skin, but atleast it worked ! :)
Can I remove my other mole by doing this process SLOWlY, (like maybe weeks or months depending) and only dab it in the daytime when I am awake and can continue wetting my mole with ACV ? Can I also do this on a FLAT MOLE without getting a scar ? Help pls ? Has anyone tried this on a small flat mole, and was not scarred ??? Thanks in advance ! xD
After reading about some "yeas" concerning the use of apple cider vinegar to remove moles, I decided to try it. It really, really works! I had an irritating mole center bottom of my sternum that I covered with a tiny piece of cotton drenched with apple cider vinegar. It fell off in 3 days. No scar, no scab... smooth as silk. I reapplied the cider 2-3x a day and kept it covered until it was gone.
Apple Cider Vinegar removed a mole in 7 days!!! I have to admit, though I am very interested in natural remedies, I was very skeptical that just simple ACV could help to remove a mole. But, for just a few dollars spent on band aids and ACV, why not give it a try?
What I did: Used a sterile needle to "rough up the skin a bit" over the mole, just break the skin a little, but not try to make it bleed. Then I used a corner piece of tissue and folded it 3-4 times and made it into a neat square. Then I put some ACV into a spray bottle (it is so much easier to apply then) and sprayed enough to soak the tissue. Finally apply it to the mole and cover it with a band aid. I did this twice a day.
In just a couple of days, the mole seemed to transform into a scab. On the seventh evening, it almost fell off (with a little help from me when I saw it came three quarters off by itself anyway. I have to admit, I only very very gently tugged at it and it just fell off.
Now, I am applying honey to a piece of tissue paper and applying that to it. I heard elsewhere on this site (and subsequently others) that honey is great for the healing and minimising any scarring. Well, the ACV worked, so why not give that a try!
By the way, the ACV I used, says it is organic but it didn't even have "the mother" in it, and it still worked!!! Now I have started doing 4 more flat moles, it is day 2 and they are all looking exactly the same as the first one did on day two! Wohoo!

pls cud any kind angel help me, my wedding is cumin.. N I'm stuck with a brownish reddish mark surrounding my mole that I've tried to remove using apple cider vinegar. My mole is almost gone, but the surrounding area is troubling me, cause it makes it more obvious. I'm scared tht it might be permanently be there. I've applied so much of aloe vera gel but it does'Nt seems to lighten at all.I guess the surrounding area of my face is burned by acv. Pls how do I get my original skin colour back fast. Help me! Warning to those, trying the acv pls protect ur surrounding skin especially if it's on ur face. pls give me a solution guys... Thanks
I have removed several moles with ACV. Only one took more than a couple of days. I put moisted qtip and held till I could really feel it working. Would do this a couple times a day making sure only to stay on the mole or wart. After I felt like it was gone I cleansed and put hydrogen peroxide,.made sure to keep it clean and they healed in a couple of days. It is a good idea to put a little vasaline around the area you are going to treat to protect from getting burned. Just be sure you dont get it on the wart or mole. I would not cover it while healing as it tends to not heal as fast and will have trouble scabbing so it can heal.

Just wanted to let you know i had a BIG mole on one side of my waist, ugly and blackish... i have used a cotton meche soaked in ACV to keep it wet for about 5 days - changed the cotton every evening and morning. I did not scratch it with needles or anything. It stang a bit and it was kinda painful (more like uncomfortable). The 6th day when taking a bath, it peeled off! Left an ugly scar for the moment but i'll keep you posted on how it develops, as it's only yesterday that this happened! Good luck and thanks.

Ok, so I decided to rid myself of a very unattractive mole on the left side of my face, on my hairline. I brought my trusty bottle of acv to work (yes, work...I'm not so inclined to slap a piece of duct tape on my face to secure a stinky piece of acv soaked cotton while trying to sleep). Sitting cautiously behind my computer, so as not to pique the curiosity of my co-workers, I soaked a q-tip in the acv and applied it directly to the mole. I then sat and read Earth Clinc posts for ten minutes or so (hope the IT staff were on break). I started this self-inflicted facial hooplah three days ago and only did it once a day and today...it's gone! Of course, it looked like I had a science experiment growing on the side of my face for a couple days! It enlarged and turned blood red on day one, as if it were going to put up a fight (puh-LEEZE) and then it scabbed up and turned black the following day. As I read it it's last rites, it simply fell off! I swear I heard it whisper "I'll beee baaack" but ain't NO MOLE strong enough to withstand the power of pure, undiluted acv!

First of all, I was skeptical Apple Cider Vinegar would work- i'm not going to lie! But over the last six years I had seen two dermatologists about a mole on the very end of my nose. Both of whom tried to remove the mole by means of freezing, and shaving. Both times it came back. Its been quite the journey for that little guy...but I really wanted to get rid of him. So, I gave ACV a try after reading this site. Started the regime a little over a week ago with scratching the mole with the broken end of a toothpick, essentially roughing up the surface a little then applied a cotton swap about the same size of the mole soaked in ACV over the it aplied a band-aid to hold it in place over night. Did this three nights in a row. The first day it bubbled a little. Nothing too noticeable. Second day after I took off the band-aid in the am. it has scabbed over looking black. (just like everyone said it would.) the third day I took a hot shower and afterward i peeled the scab right off and it left a crater sized hole. Honestly, I looked like a mess - but i prevailed and by the fourth day I could already see the damaged skin reviving itself and starting to heal. Today its day 8 and you can hardly see anything. My skin is looking healthy. I'm thrilled. In the back of my head Im worried that some how it'll come back just like it has in the past, but only time will tell. I am truly amazed it worked. Also, truly grateful to have found this site!
I used acv on the side of my face near my left eye using acv for about 5 days with a small piece of cotton saturated with acv and covered with a bandaid. The mole turn black and scab I could feel the acv burning. The mole fell off and left a red mark and scar. I put lavender oil on during the day and Ted's remedy of honey and nutmeg at night on the scar. It's been almost 2 months. The red is gone and the scar is starting to go away...I don't think the scar will go away completely, but a little powder does cover it up. I'm really happy with the results.
ATT: To let everyone know this was my fault for not protecting my face with VASELINE around the mole. I have another mole on my face and I will use VASELINE :>) this time. Good Luck to everyone!
ACV got rid of my mole in minutes! I had a mole -the kind that's raised and rough to the touch- grow within the last month or so on my front torso. It was itchy and had grown enough that it was bothersome.
I'd read somewhere that if I doused a cotton ball with ACV and just rubbed the mole, it would come off.
I tried it last night: doused a cotton ball and started rubbing the mole.
At first just flecks of the mole started to come off. Then after about four minutes of gently rubbing the mole and 3-4 cotton balls later, half the mole was gone! It was disintegrating little by little -kind of like a scab would- and I was a little worried because although it wasn't bleeding, it was leaving a red/bloody 'footprint' on my skin. There was a little blood on the cotton balls which turned the cotton ball dark brown (i assume the reaction of the blood with the vinegar) but other than that, it took about EIGHT minutes for the mole to be completely OFF!
I wiped the newly mole-free area with one more swipe of a cotton ball and put on a small bandage to keep it from chafing from my shirt while I slept.
Right now, a day later, it looks like it's scabbing. I 'cleaned' it again today with another swipe of ACV and it stung, but subsided.
I don't know what'll happen, or if it'll grow back, so we'll see, but I would rather have this scab than that itchy nasty raised mole!
I did not do what most have done, which is to leave the cotton ball on for days; I just literally rubbed the mole off in minutes. Not sure if that would work for everyone.

I had a good size mole on my right temple. Mine also seemed to swell or enlarge and turn lighter in color before scabbing and falling off. I did not do the bandaid route, instead I went in the bathroom several times a day and held ACV to the mole via a q-tip. It took almost two weeks, but it is totally gone tonight! I did finally "scratch" the area before applying the AVC and this sped things up. I had people left and right telling me to "have that thing removed!" I am so happy to say...the mole/wart is gone! I used tweezers to remove the scabbing....as the edges would darken I would peel them off....the mole shrunk and finally tonight came off. Hang in there! I hope this helps!!
To the person who had the itchy mole, before they started the AVC treatment. You should still go to a dermatologist and have the spot where the mole was checked. As you said the mole seemd to come out of no where and itched. Its not usually a good sign when a mole start to itch all by itself. It could be turning into melanoma. Its better to be safe than sorry and have suspicious itchy, bleeding or irregular colored moles checked out by a dermatologist as soon as these symptoms appear. As melanoma is an aggressive cancer.
I recently read about Castor Cream and Apple Cider Vinegar used for removing moles, so I tried one of each on two different moles on my neck.
I applied both for a couple of hours each day for about two weeks (using a soaked cotton pad of ACV, held with a bandaid, and simply applying the Castor Oil with Baking Soda on the other).
While the castor cream seems to have little effect, the ACV definitely worked. A couple of days after the tip of the mole scabbed I felt the mole with my hand, scratched it a bit and it felt as if the scab just fell off. I went to check it in the mirror to find that the whole mole itself actually fell off!
I stumbled upon this website by accident about 6 months ago. I have tried several of the suggestions mentioned for different ailments and they have all worked. I tried the remedy for mole removal using organic apple cider vinegar from the health food store. I had this ugly mole on my neck and I must say that after soaking a cotton ball and applying it to the mole at night for 5 days, securing it with a bandaid, I am mole free. Thank you so much for that helpful suggestion. I have also been using the organic apple cider vinegar on my melasma (face) applying it directly on the skin using a cotton ball and it has lighten the areas on my cheeks and forehead. I think in a few months the melasma will have faded completely.
I cannot believe how well this worked! Last week I swear a mole popped up on my back outta nowhere. It was itchy and very annoying. I was seriously considering going into a doctor to see about having it removed. I've had 2 kids, a little shot in the back shouldn't bother me too much, but I absolutely hate going to the doctor. So, I googled natural mole removal and found out about acv and then found this site. After reading just about every feedback that was listed on the site, I figured why not give it a try. I can always go to the doctor if it doesn't work.
I started this on Sunday afternoon. I used one of those cotton rounds that you usually use to take off nail polish with. I folded it into quarters, put it over the top of my acv bottle and put some on it much like when I put nail polish remover on it. I then took a slightly larger bandaid and this little triangle fit perfectly on the center of it. Put it on my back and let it do it's work. I changed it again before I went to bed, and took it off when I woke up, and kept on going. The only time that I went without it was when I went somewhere, and as soon as I got home, I reapplied.
It's now Wednesday evening, and the mole is virtually gone. It's been painless. I have a little red mark where the scab fell off, but it is soooo much better have this irritating little mole driving me nuts when my shirt rubs on it or while trying to sleep. I have had no burning of the skin whatsoever. I imagine some are much more sensitive to things, but I've never had issues like that. I'm so happy this worked, because iodine is not an option for me since I am allergic to it. The only thing about it is that acv has a strong smell and my husband thought it was hilarious that I smelled like salt and vinegar potato chips. HA!
I have a couple of more moles that I want to try this one, but will wait until I get back home after being gone this coming weekend. I'm still leery about trying to do one on my face, but I think I'll try that as well. :) I also used a cheap store brand bottle of acv.
I am on my third day of the ACV mole treatment. I am treating 7 moles. 3 look good (turning black scabbing etc) However another 3 of them look bigger and slightly lighter than before. They look inflammed. Has this happened to anyone? I am not sure if I should continue the ACV treatments. I really want this to work and want the moles gone.
Please help! I used ACV on a small mole on my face (above my lip). I was extra careful in only putting the ACV on the mole and covering the surrounding area with vaseline. My mole is scabbing over after one day; however, I am experiencing SO MUCH inflammation around the site. Is this normal? My skin is all red and inflammed around the mole. I am concerned. Basically i had 3 moles on my face which were about half the size of the end of a pencil erazer. So i read all the stuff on here about using apple cider vingar, so i thought i might aswell give it a shot so i did.
But before i applied the vingear, btw i used normal white vingear that was the only 1 at my house at the time. So basically i cut my moles quite alot using a scissor untill they were bleeding... your probably wondering how i cut them up.. but basically how i cut them was using EMLA cream 5mg, its basically a local anaesthesia cream which is available from chemists without prescription :D:D. I applied it onto my moles for 1 hour, untill the moles and skin around the moles got numb and then i cut them up abit with a scissor.
Once that was done i got a bottle of vinegar, took the cap off... and held the entire bottle of vingear on each of my moles for about 20mins each it burnt abit but the vinger penetrated the moles straight away coz the moles were cut up :D. in about 7 hours i noticed the moles went black but were still abit soft... then about 24 hours later they became hard and scabby... i didnt peel them at all.
4 days later whilst applying vaseline the mole scabs were healing up and then it just peeled right off! a slight pinkish scar but u cant even notice it honestly.... its the best method to be honest!!! and u dnt have the headache of using a bandaid everyday...!
btw i only used the vinegar for 20mins! and that was it... i didnt even need to use a bandaid and soaked cotton wool for 1week like the rest of the people here...
hello my name is mikal i'm from phenix city alabama. I was born with a large mole on my neck. I was always made fun of in school cause of it. It measured at a size of a dime i found this web site and i saw the (apple cider vinegar) I said to myself i've got to try it so i went and got the items and started using them it has been three days and it has gotten alot smaller .I'm happy now knowing that its not going to be there much longer I'm just going to keep using it until its gone. I had this mole on my face for as long as I remember. I'm simply writing to share my amazement with how the method worked in removing my mole! I scraped the mole with a clean needle and then I applied vaseline on the skin around the mole. Then I took a cotton ball and soaked it in Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) product. I placed it directly on the mole and taped it down with normal tape. I left it on 1 hour and then washed it and took it off. I did this for a week however I didn't do it every single day (I did it every other day and I was skeptical so pretty much I thought I was wasting my time). The mole dried up and fell off. There is a tiny pink spot but I can cover it with even pressed powder. I'm sure it will disappear though.
I am still amazed! I had a large brown freckle/mole (about 1/4 inch) on my chest. I'd had it checked by a dermotologist to make sure it was benign (it was), however, it seemed to be getting slightly larger every year. Used the ACV technique I found here: saturating a small piece of cotton/placing on mole/covering with bandaid/leaving overnight. Did this about half a dozen times, and not even on consecutive nights. Was amazed how the mole came off in layers. Each morning, after showering, I'd dab with some hydrogen peroxide. Apple Cider Vinegar removed two flat very dark moles in about two weeks. I applied the ACV overnight consecutively for about a week and a half, and once they both scabbed up (they became very black and a little hard), I did not touch them. Then a week later, both fell off! The skin is still red, but both moles are completely gone. The most importnat thing is is that you don't pull at the scab and take it off yourself too early, otherwise you might only get half the mole and it increases the risk of scarring. You really have to be patient, and put up with the scabs until they fall off. Thank you soo much Earth Clinic, I love this site!! :)
ACV Removed my pea size mole in 2 1/2 days only a small red area left that is turning lighter every day, I recomend trying ACV it is cheap and does not take that long, Plus there is very little pain through the whole process.
So i tried this, and it did remove my mole, BUT it wasn't completely off, so now its a big scar with tiny moles under the skin, but atleast it worked ! :)
Can I remove my other mole by doing this process SLOWlY, (like maybe weeks or months depending) and only dab it in the daytime when I am awake and can continue wetting my mole with ACV ? Can I also do this on a FLAT MOLE without getting a scar ? Help pls ? Has anyone tried this on a small flat mole, and was not scarred ??? Thanks in advance ! xD
After reading about some "yeas" concerning the use of apple cider vinegar to remove moles, I decided to try it. It really, really works! I had an irritating mole center bottom of my sternum that I covered with a tiny piece of cotton drenched with apple cider vinegar. It fell off in 3 days. No scar, no scab... smooth as silk. I reapplied the cider 2-3x a day and kept it covered until it was gone.
Apple Cider Vinegar removed a mole in 7 days!!! I have to admit, though I am very interested in natural remedies, I was very skeptical that just simple ACV could help to remove a mole. But, for just a few dollars spent on band aids and ACV, why not give it a try?
What I did: Used a sterile needle to "rough up the skin a bit" over the mole, just break the skin a little, but not try to make it bleed. Then I used a corner piece of tissue and folded it 3-4 times and made it into a neat square. Then I put some ACV into a spray bottle (it is so much easier to apply then) and sprayed enough to soak the tissue. Finally apply it to the mole and cover it with a band aid. I did this twice a day.
In just a couple of days, the mole seemed to transform into a scab. On the seventh evening, it almost fell off (with a little help from me when I saw it came three quarters off by itself anyway. I have to admit, I only very very gently tugged at it and it just fell off.
Now, I am applying honey to a piece of tissue paper and applying that to it. I heard elsewhere on this site (and subsequently others) that honey is great for the healing and minimising any scarring. Well, the ACV worked, so why not give that a try!
By the way, the ACV I used, says it is organic but it didn't even have "the mother" in it, and it still worked!!! Now I have started doing 4 more flat moles, it is day 2 and they are all looking exactly the same as the first one did on day two! Wohoo!

pls cud any kind angel help me, my wedding is cumin.. N I'm stuck with a brownish reddish mark surrounding my mole that I've tried to remove using apple cider vinegar. My mole is almost gone, but the surrounding area is troubling me, cause it makes it more obvious. I'm scared tht it might be permanently be there. I've applied so much of aloe vera gel but it does'Nt seems to lighten at all.I guess the surrounding area of my face is burned by acv. Pls how do I get my original skin colour back fast. Help me! I have removed several moles with ACV. Only one took more than a couple of days. I put moisted qtip and held till I could really feel it working. Would do this a couple times a day making sure only to stay on the mole or wart. After I felt like it was gone I cleansed and put hydrogen peroxide,.made sure to keep it clean and they healed in a couple of days. It is a good idea to put a little vasaline around the area you are going to treat to protect from getting burned. Just be sure you dont get it on the wart or mole. I would not cover it while healing as it tends to not heal as fast and will have trouble scabbing so it can heal.
Just an update. After using the ACV on my skin colored facial mole, I can tell you I now have no scar. There was a crater and I was freaking, but after 4 months it filled in nicely. Used silicone, and Ted's remedy of honey and nutmeg. No mark, not redness, no scar.
I have since used the ACV and Lugols iodine methods to remove moles. Lugols's looked like it worked but the mole came back in about 6 months. It also left a scar that is still visible. For me, the ACV method works the best, but everyone is different.
Here is my advice:
1.) Experiment first on a mole on your body to see what works for you. 2.) Protect the skin around the mole. 3.) Scratch and rough up the mole. 4.) Be patient, don't freak out. Things will look bad, but if you do not form keloids, you will probably heal better than you expect.

For the first three days I used vaseline around the mole and left a small piece of cotton ball soaked in ACV on 24/7 secured with a bandaid. I changed it frequently throughout the day and before bed. Within 4 days the mole scabbed and on the fifth day it fell off. The skin around where the mole had been was a little red so I used an antibiotic cream and a bandaid overnight. This took the redness away. I can still feel some of the core of mole and there is a small part that is not completely gone. My plan is to now dab ACV on with a q-tip several times a day to get rid of the last bit of the mole. Thank you so much for this site. To be rid of this mole after all these years so simply and so inexpensively is wonderful.
I tried the apple cider vinegar method to remove a mole on my belly. I roughed up the mole and applied the ACV with a cotton ball taped into place with band-aids, twice a day for 2-3 weeks. The mole sort of dissolved away, but always left a red spot, not just normal skin. I didn't start using vaseline (later, virgin coconut oil) on it right away, though. Maybe that is the problem, because the red area has turned into a keloid scar that is not going away, though I have been applying pure vitamin E oil to it morning and evening. It has been a couple of months...any suggestions, please??!! Thanks to all who write with various issues. This is a phenomenal website!
My girlfriend tried ACV on a cotton swab after scoring her 2 facial moles. They both left leaving craters in her face. She could handle the craters (because she knew they'd heal)but now the moles are coming back, which she's not too happy about. Especially since they already came back once before with a vengeance (getting bigger) after a failed attempt using H2O2.
i tried the acv on two moles i have on my back ive had for years since i was a child. one on the center of my back that is about the size of a pencil eraser and one slightly raised on the bottom of my back. I filed both moles with an emery board and dabbed with a qtip some apple cider vinegar on both everyday for about a week and kept them covered with band aids im on about day 5 now and the moles havnt really changed except the biggest one on the center which is really sore and gotten bigger im a little worried and unsure if i should carry on is this normal. I have had a raised mole about the size of a lentil under the right corner of my mouth since birth. Never bothered me, though it grew slightly larger as I aged, and for the last few years I have thought about removing it -- but did not want to pay several hundred dollars to have it done by a doctor. Having seen a side view of it, while having my hair cut recently, I decided I was ready to say goodbye to it.
Natural home remedies are always my first line of defense, so when I went on the internet and came across all the positive results using ACV I laughed at how simple this could be.
I followed instructions roughing the skin up. I didn't have any unused sand-paper or emory boards -- so I used (LOL)a small piece if a cracker with a very rough surface. It did the trick, so I then applied the ACV with the tip of a cotton swab, dabbing for several minutes until it formed a hard black scab. I soaked a small piece of a cotton pad and covered the mole with it using some regular clear tape to secure it and slept with it.
The following day, I wasn't sure if I had roughed up the undersides of the mole(as it was raised)so I sterilized some cuticle scissors and scraped around the mole with the sharp tips -- again applying the ACV with a swab -- and again covering it with the soaked cotton pad.
Foolishly, I did not apply petroleum jelly to the surrounding skin, so the area became quite burned and inflamed. ACV is VERY strong, and I probably used too much, too soon -- so for the next few days I used only a little hydrogen peroxide to cleanse the area and vitamin E to heal the skin.
The mole had formed such a hard tight scab that I became doubtful it would come off. But I hung in there, and after a week it became loose enough to remove with a little prodding. There was still a trace of the mole underneath and since it was slightly raw I applied the ACV again with a swab.
There is a much smaller scab there, at present, I feel confident that the rest of the mole will come off, or at worst, will be greatly diminished. I will post back with the complete results.

I did finally "scratch" the area before applying the AVC and this sped things up. I had people left and right telling me to "have that thing removed!" I am so happy to say...the mole/wart is gone! I used tweezers to remove the scabbing....as the edges would darken I would peel them off....the mole shrunk and finally tonight came off. Hang in there! I hope this helps!!
To the person who had the itchy mole, before they started the AVC treatment. You should still go to a dermatologist and have the spot where the mole was checked. As you said the mole seemd to come out of no where and itched. Its not usually a good sign when a mole start to itch all by itself. It could be turning into melanoma. Its better to be safe than sorry and have suspicious itchy, bleeding or irregular colored moles checked out by a dermatologist as soon as these symptoms appear. As melanoma is an aggressive cancer.
I recently read about Castor Cream and Apple Cider Vinegar used for removing moles, so I tried one of each on two different moles on my neck.
I applied both for a couple of hours each day for about two weeks (using a soaked cotton pad of ACV, held with a bandaid, and simply applying the Castor Oil with Baking Soda on the other).
While the castor cream seems to have little effect, the ACV definitely worked. A couple of days after the tip of the mole scabbed I felt the mole with my hand, scratched it a bit and it felt as if the scab just fell off. I went to check it in the mirror to find that the whole mole itself actually fell off!
I stumbled upon this website by accident about 6 months ago. I have tried several of the suggestions mentioned for different ailments and they have all worked. I tried the remedy for mole removal using organic apple cider vinegar from the health food store. I had this ugly mole on my neck and I must say that after soaking a cotton ball and applying it to the mole at night for 5 days, securing it with a bandaid, I am mole free. Thank you so much for that helpful suggestion. I have also been using the organic apple cider vinegar on my melasma (face) applying it directly on the skin using a cotton ball and it has lighten the areas on my cheeks and forehead. I think in a few months the melasma will have faded completely.
I cannot believe how well this worked! Last week I swear a mole popped up on my back outta nowhere. It was itchy and very annoying. I was seriously considering going into a doctor to see about having it removed. I've had 2 kids, a little shot in the back shouldn't bother me too much, but I absolutely hate going to the doctor. So, I googled natural mole removal and found out about acv and then found this site. After reading just about every feedback that was listed on the site, I figured why not give it a try. I can always go to the doctor if it doesn't work.
I started this on Sunday afternoon. I used one of those cotton rounds that you usually use to take off nail polish with. I folded it into quarters, put it over the top of my acv bottle and put some on it much like when I put nail polish remover on it. I then took a slightly larger bandaid and this little triangle fit perfectly on the center of it. Put it on my back and let it do it's work. I changed it again before I went to bed, and took it off when I woke up, and kept on going. The only time that I went without it was when I went somewhere, and as soon as I got home, I reapplied.
It's now Wednesday evening, and the mole is virtually gone. It's been painless. I have a little red mark where the scab fell off, but it is soooo much better have this irritating little mole driving me nuts when my shirt rubs on it or while trying to sleep. I have had no burning of the skin whatsoever. I imagine some are much more sensitive to things, but I've never had issues like that. I'm so happy this worked, because iodine is not an option for me since I am allergic to it. The only thing about it is that acv has a strong smell and my husband thought it was hilarious that I smelled like salt and vinegar potato chips. HA!
I have a couple of more moles that I want to try this one, but will wait until I get back home after being gone this coming weekend. I'm still leery about trying to do one on my face, but I think I'll try that as well. :) I also used a cheap store brand bottle of acv.
I am on my third day of the ACV mole treatment. I am treating 7 moles. 3 look good (turning black scabbing etc) However another 3 of them look bigger and slightly lighter than before. They look inflammed. Has this happened to anyone? I am not sure if I should continue the ACV treatments. I really want this to work and want the moles gone.
Please help! I used ACV on a small mole on my face (above my lip). I was extra careful in only putting the ACV on the mole and covering the surrounding area with vaseline. My mole is scabbing over after one day; however, I am experiencing SO MUCH inflammation around the site. Is this normal? My skin is all red and inflammed around the mole. I am concerned. Basically i had 3 moles on my face which were about half the size of the end of a pencil erazer. So i read all the stuff on here about using apple cider vingar, so i thought i might aswell give it a shot so i did.
But before i applied the vingear, btw i used normal white vingear that was the only 1 at my house at the time. So basically i cut my moles quite alot using a scissor untill they were bleeding... your probably wondering how i cut them up.. but basically how i cut them was using EMLA cream 5mg, its basically a local anaesthesia cream which is available from chemists without prescription :D:D. I applied it onto my moles for 1 hour, untill the moles and skin around the moles got numb and then i cut them up abit with a scissor.
Once that was done i got a bottle of vinegar, took the cap off... and held the entire bottle of vingear on each of my moles for about 20mins each it burnt abit but the vinger penetrated the moles straight away coz the moles were cut up :D. in about 7 hours i noticed the moles went black but were still abit soft... then about 24 hours later they became hard and scabby... i didnt peel them at all.
4 days later whilst applying vaseline the mole scabs were healing up and then it just peeled right off! a slight pinkish scar but u cant even notice it honestly.... its the best method to be honest!!! and u dnt have the headache of using a bandaid everyday...!
btw i only used the vinegar for 20mins! and that was it... i didnt even need to use a bandaid and soaked cotton wool for 1week like the rest of the people here...
hello my name is mikal i'm from phenix city alabama. I was born with a large mole on my neck. I was always made fun of in school cause of it. It measured at a size of a dime i found this web site and i saw the (apple cider vinegar) I said to myself i've got to try it so i went and got the items and started using them it has been three days and it has gotten alot smaller .I'm happy now knowing that its not going to be there much longer I'm just going to keep using it until its gone. I had this mole on my face for as long as I remember. I'm simply writing to share my amazement with how the method worked in removing my mole! I scraped the mole with a clean needle and then I applied vaseline on the skin around the mole. Then I took a cotton ball and soaked it in Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) product. I placed it directly on the mole and taped it down with normal tape. I left it on 1 hour and then washed it and took it off. I did this for a week however I didn't do it every single day (I did it every other day and I was skeptical so pretty much I thought I was wasting my time). The mole dried up and fell off. There is a tiny pink spot but I can cover it with even pressed powder. I'm sure it will disappear though.
I am still amazed! I had a large brown freckle/mole (about 1/4 inch) on my chest. I'd had it checked by a dermotologist to make sure it was benign (it was), however, it seemed to be getting slightly larger every year. Used the ACV technique I found here: saturating a small piece of cotton/placing on mole/covering with bandaid/leaving overnight. Did this about half a dozen times, and not even on consecutive nights. Was amazed how the mole came off in layers. Each morning, after showering, I'd dab with some hydrogen peroxide. When the last layer fell off, the skin underneath was slightly pink, and now I can't even tell where the thing was. Fabulous!! Thanks EC and to everyone who posted this cure :D
Apple Cider Vinegar removed two flat very dark moles in about two weeks. I applied the ACV overnight consecutively for about a week and a half, and once they both scabbed up (they became very black and a little hard), I did not touch them. Then a week later, both fell off! The skin is still red, but both moles are completely gone. The most importnat thing is is that you don't pull at the scab and take it off yourself too early, otherwise you might only get half the mole and it increases the risk of scarring. You really have to be patient, and put up with the scabs until they fall off. Thank you soo much Earth Clinic, I love this site!! :)
ACV Removed my pea size mole in 2 1/2 days only a small red area left that is turning lighter every day, I recomend trying ACV it is cheap and does not take that long, Plus there is very little pain through the whole process.
So i tried this, and it did remove my mole, BUT it wasn't completely off, so now its a big scar with tiny moles under the skin, but atleast it worked ! :)
Can I remove my other mole by doing this process SLOWlY, (like maybe weeks or months depending) and only dab it in the daytime when I am awake and can continue wetting my mole with ACV ? Can I also do this on a FLAT MOLE without getting a scar ? Help pls ? Has anyone tried this on a small flat mole, and was not scarred ??? Thanks in advance ! xD
After reading about some "yeas" concerning the use of apple cider vinegar to remove moles, I decided to try it. It really, really works! I had an irritating mole center bottom of my sternum that I covered with a tiny piece of cotton drenched with apple cider vinegar. It fell off in 3 days. No scar, no scab... smooth as silk. I reapplied the cider 2-3x a day and kept it covered until it was gone.
Apple Cider Vinegar removed a mole in 7 days!!! I have to admit, though I am very interested in natural remedies, I was very skeptical that just simple ACV could help to remove a mole. But, for just a few dollars spent on band aids and ACV, why not give it a try?
What I did: Used a sterile needle to "rough up the skin a bit" over the mole, just break the skin a little, but not try to make it bleed. Then I used a corner piece of tissue and folded it 3-4 times and made it into a neat square. Then I put some ACV into a spray bottle (it is so much easier to apply then) and sprayed enough to soak the tissue. Finally apply it to the mole and cover it with a band aid. I did this twice a day.
In just a couple of days, the mole seemed to transform into a scab. On the seventh evening, it almost fell off (with a little help from me when I saw it came three quarters off by itself anyway. I have to admit, I only very very gently tugged at it and it just fell off.
Now, I am applying honey to a piece of tissue paper and applying that to it. I heard elsewhere on this site (and subsequently others) that honey is great for the healing and minimising any scarring. Well, the ACV worked, so why not give that a try!
By the way, the ACV I used, says it is organic but it didn't even have "the mother" in it, and it still worked!!! Now I have started doing 4 more flat moles, it is day 2 and they are all looking exactly the same as the first one did on day two! Wohoo!

pls cud any kind angel help me, my wedding is cumin.. N I'm stuck with a brownish reddish mark surrounding my mole that I've tried to remove using apple cider vinegar. My mole is almost gone, but the surrounding area is troubling me, cause it makes it more obvious. I'm scared tht it might be permanently be there. I've applied so much of aloe vera gel but it does'Nt seems to lighten at all.I guess the surrounding area of my face is burned by acv. Pls how do I get my original skin colour back fast. Help me! Warning to those, trying the acv pls protect ur surrounding skin especially if it's on ur face. pls give me a solution guys... Thanks
I have removed several moles with ACV. Only one took more than a couple of days. I put moisted qtip and held till I could really feel it working. Would do this a couple times a day making sure only to stay on the mole or wart. After I felt like it was gone I cleansed and put hydrogen peroxide,.made sure to keep it clean and they healed in a couple of days. It is a good idea to put a little vasaline around the area you are going to treat to protect from getting burned. Just be sure you dont get it on the wart or mole. I would not cover it while healing as it tends to not heal as fast and will have trouble scabbing so it can heal.
