Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), more commonly known simply as lupus, is an autoimmune disorder disproportionately affecting women (10 times more often than men) and causing various symptoms and in varying degrees for each person. This is a chronic condition with at present no known cure, but holistic treatment may significantly reduce your symptoms and allow you to live a normal life.
