Apple cider vinegar, room temp distilled water, a hope and a prayer.

Mixed 2 tbs ACV with 2 tbs distilled water (slightly warmer than room temperature. Drank at once, but forgot to swish because of the excruciating pain. Immediately prepared another 1 tbs of each and mixed prior to swishing. Swished concoction in mouth for 30-60 seconds, (directing the majority to the area of mouth where toothache presented), then spit once finished with swishing. Good enough for Suzie from Zootown, good enough for me, Eric from Zootown. Boy oh boy, what a wonderful wizardry!!!

Omg this works! I was in excruciating pain and over the counter medication wasn't working, a few mouthfuls of this held in my mouth and then spat out and the pain went away. Thank you

This was the best remedy, it works like a charm and works fast, I had tried all kinds of over the counter meds, orajel but nothing else worked like this natural remedy, it soothed the pain until I was able to get to the dentist, I put warm water, 2 teaspoons acv(with the mother) and added salt to mine and gargled with it and it worked immediately

I have a tooth that need to be pulled on my upper left in the back. It started bothering me and I was taking ibuprofen and using Orajel, which worked well at first. Over the weekend, the pain was increasing and ibuprofen was not cutting it. I tried alternating acetaminophen and ibuprofen and the pain was unbearable. I tried tea tree oil and vanilla extract which numbed for only a few brief moments. My husband thought of ACV, I said, I don't want to just try anything, and he found your website. I am so thankful for these reviews and testimonies to ACV. I mixed 2 TBSP ACV and 2 TBSP warm water, drank the majority of it down and swished the last swallow for 1 min. It is not easy to drink if you're not used to it, but the benefits out weigh the sour taste. It took a little longer than 15 minutes for me, but I do weigh over 200 lbs, so that probably has a factor. I was able to sleep, I was able to go to work, I have the slightest ache now, but I can live with this until I can get my tooth out. Thank God for my husband, ACV, and your site!!!

ACV stopped my severe tooth pain.

After 7 days of agony and mental anxiety this is what I just did. 2 tablespoons of organic ACV with the mother. Put in one glass of warm spring water. Drank it down and then swished throbbing tooth with last mouthfull and spit out. OMG I trully feel alive again. YES THAT FAST. I have no dental insurance and hence no dentist to run to. I will repeat once more before bed for good measure. Thank you all who who reminded me with your posts that ACV works wonders. Bless your hearts!!!

So I looked up home remedies and came across apple cider vinegar. I used 2 tsp apv and 2 tsp warm water rinsed my mouth for about a min. And the pain is was gone right away!! I think I might finally get some sleep!!

I had a horrible toothache and I mixed about 2 Tbsp ACV with the Mother and about 1 tsp of raw honey with about 1/4 cup of lukewarm water and I swished it around my teeth and then swallowed it. that was about 30 minutes ago and the pain was GONE within 15 minutes. Completely gone. I don't know how long the pain will be gone, but I am amazed and so grateful. I am concerned about the enamel damage possible by ACV so I might just swallow the mixture next time and see if that works as well. I am so amazed that this worked.

Same thing happened to me. Tooth on top and one on bottom started hurting for no reason that I could think of. It wasn't the type of pain from a cavity, more like from a nerve. The pain would start at the teeth and then go up towards my ear. It only happened when I drank something, didn't matter if it was hot or cold. Read the post by Passion4film87 so swished half apple cider vinegar and half water and the pain was gone. I was so surprised that the pain would stop so fast.

I had radiating pain on the entire left side of my mouth from who-knows-what, and not even Aleve - my go-to painkiller - was helping. Then I remembered - apple cider vinegar! I drank about 2oz. of it (like a shot, LOL) and then swished with a mouthful. My pain was instantly gone. Literally instantly. It hasn't been back, about 24 hours later. WOW!

Thank you so much. I've been doing ice water for over a week now and could not get to a dentist. I did exactly what you said, two tablespoons vinegar one big tablespoon of honey and warm water. The toothache pain disappeared in 10 seconds and has not been back. It's been over two hours now I honestly think I'll get some sleep tonight thanks again

I am a grown woman. Who is afraid of the dentist. I have panic attacks. I have two wisdom teeth along with molars that the feelings have come out. I tried everything for pain. Tylenol extra strength three at a time, aleve, ibuprofen sometimes takeing all pain medication at once for relief. When this no longer worked. I researched the benefits of acv.. I was already taking Apple Cider Vinegar for weight loss. And to promote the digestion of my food. I put two tablespoons in luke warm water(tap). And rinsed my mouth. The pain stopped immediately.. My God is all I can say. Please give me the courage to go to the dentist. I don't know why this remedy worked but it did. Thank you.

Just followed your advice and got the exact same results. After agonizing with toothache for 11 hours, I read this and immediately prepared my own. Warm water, 2 tbs ACV, and black forest honey for its antibacterial properties and... Gone after only two sips. I finished it and bought some more ACV so I might take it 3 times a day and see. Thank you ALL of you who posted your experiences here, the good ones and the bad ones, so we can all benefit from each other's stories.

I was having a horrible time with a cracked tooth, the pain was awful! IB Profin would only numb the pain for a short time. I tried peroxide, garlic and a few other things and nothing helped. Finally, I tried 2 tablespoons of ACV with the mother in a glass of warm water. Let me tell you, after the first two sips the pain started to go away! I'm on the second day of the vinegar and water 3 times a day and the pain is pretty much gone! I am amazed! I'm going to keep doing it but gradually reducing it until I get to 1 tablespoon in water 2 times a day.

I had a bad toothache in my decayed wisdom tooth, with a slightly swollen right cheek and a general feeling of fatigue and malaise. The symptoms lasted for almost 2 weeks and didn't get better. I went to my doctor to ask for some antibiotics and they turned me away, telling me I needed to see a dentist. I went to my dentist and they said they could pull the tooth at the end of the month. Desperate and in pain, I tried almost every remedy on this page - oil pulling, oil of oregano, coconut oil (internally and swishing), garlic (tried minced and fresh garlic), hydrogen peroxide, vitamin E... Nothing worked at all. I felt some temporary relief after oil pulling and swishing with hydrogen peroxide that would last about 30 minutes before the pain started to return. Orajel worked for maybe 20 minutes.

I had given up and decided to take apple cider vinegar internally to help with the feeling of malaise (swishing with apple cider vinegar did not help my toothache either). Immediately I felt some relief in the tooth pain. Within about an hour or two the pain had diminished by half. I just thought it was a fluke and stopped taking the apple cider vinegar. The pain came back and lasted for about 2 days. Desperate, I tried the apple cider vinegar again, this time taking it about 2 or 3 times a day. The pain went away completely in 2 days - what a miracle! The pain hasn't come back since. I take ACV maybe once every few days. I have a surgery scheduled to remove my wisdom teeth, but in the meantime, this has been a lifesaver. I wouldn't have thought that taking this internally would help, but it makes sense because most toothaches are due to bacterial infections in the tooth or gum - and ACV is great at getting rid of bacteria infections. By the way, I use the organic kind with the "mother". I've found it is much more effective than other brands.

One last note - if you are having a severe toothache or abcess, please go see your dentist. A dentist won't kill you, but an untreated abcess can. Just bite the bullet and go see your dentist... Even if you don't have health insurance, you might be able to find a dental school near you that offers discounted or free services. Best wishes!

I had read about all of the ailments that could be treated by Apple Cider Vinegar and decided to try it for a bad case of Athlete's Foot. I used it for about 6 weeks and the problem cleared up completely. A couple of months later, I chipped a piece of a filling from my tooth. Within a couple of days, the tooth started to ache. I remembered how the Apple Cider Vinegar had killed the bacteria from my feet so I decided to start taking it internally to kill bacteria from the inside out. It immediately started to reduce the pain in my tooth. Within 3 weeks, my toothache was completed gone. I still haven't gone to a dentist to get it fixed. I just keep taking my ACV!
