I have has High Blood Pressure for several years and have tried exercise and Several ayurvedic treatments without much success. I started a Yoga deep breathing exercise and within a week noticed that my blood pressure was better managed. You take a very deep breath through your nose for a count of 4 - hold breath for a count of 2 and breath out through the nose for a count of of 6. It is easy for anyone of any age to do and does not require any special equipment. Just drink at least 2 Ltrs of water everyday. You can sit o teh floor or use a chair if you can't sit on the floor

I do three sets of 10 breaths in the morning and at night before going to sleep. Allow 2 hrs after food.

There are several breathing exercises or Pranayama in Yoga that work very well. You can find free and detailed information about this and video instruction on www.anmolmehta.com or You Tube - search Swami Ramdev Yoga

Hope this helps and God Bless

Ash
