I recently got sick with a fever and general overall lousy feeling. My doctor thought I had a UTI but urinalysis was normal. She ordered a full blood panel and found the Ferritin (Iron Overload) was high (378)! Women should have one under 200. Couldn't figure out why. I told the doctor I take Black Strap Molasses every day and have for years. I was told to stop it. So it has been a few days and I am starting to feel somewhat better but understand Iron overload is dangerous. They caught it in time and I am so thankful. Who would have thought????
