I'm so upset and I give up, BSM has helped so many people nearly everyone on this site says it helped them but it didn't help me. Thank you for all your advice and help but I've decided to stop taking the BSM and if I can find ACV with mother then I will start on that, does anyone know where I can find some ACV with mother in Melbourne?

My story is I have been suffering with severe heavy bleeding and have a fear of leaving the house while on my period because of how hard it is to handle. I don't know what to do with my life. I constantly feel weak and tired and am afraid to apply for a job because I will need to stay at home 9 days a week while I have my period. I have seen many specialists but they all say that I am normal and this is just how my body is.
I tried Blackstrap molasses and it made me feel a lot calmer however it did not help with the bleeding. I live in Australia and the only one I found was Blue Label unsulphured blackstrap molasses. I used it on the first day of my period and it has been 5 days and I haven't noticed a difference at all except for me feeling a lot calmer.
I was so excited to try it but now I feel horrible, what if it doesn't work for me, what do I do then? I'm going to keep trying it maybe my body needs more time to adjust to it. I take it with one teaspoon in my green tea or coffee. Does anyone know why it's not working for me and if there are other brands to try that are in Australia?
I will let you know how I go next month. Thank you for your time.

I have been taking unsulphured blackstrap molasses since the first week of June. I have fibroids and bleed very heavily and my cycles last 10 days. I take a spoonful in hot water twice a day. For this July cycle, I did notice a decrease in the severity of the cramps I experience. But my flow is heavy as usual-nothing has changed there. I noticed another lady posted that her acne seemed to get worse on the molasses. It seems that is also the case with me. I am going to finish the bottle that I have and maybe decrease to only one spoonful a day to see if my acne gets better. I haven't been taking it that long, but I'm disappointed still the same...

I tried blackstrap molasses (the Brer' Rabbit brand) to try and lighten and shorten my periods. I took one tablespoon daily (in the morning), dissolved it in a little warm water, and topped off with 8 oz. of milk. I actually enjoy the taste, so keeping up with it was not a problem. When my period started, I took the aforementioned concoction twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). The first thing I noticed was that I began spotting. Not a lot, but faintly at least once each week between my periods. When my period started, it was heavier than normal. What is really strange is around the second day, all flow stopped, and I believed that the blackstrap was working. Then, a whole day passed without any flow, but by the next day, my period had returned with heavy flow again. I was really hoping that blackstrap would work for me. It seems that the other posters here had almost instantaneous results.

re: BSM and the Periods from hell. I went to see the gynaecologist last week and he informed me that I have several fibroids and a polyp. It seems that the polyp will need to be removed as it could contain cancerous cells. I started my period last Wednesday, 2/27 and the flow was minimal, in fact, hardly anything there at all. I went shopping on Saturday and when I got out of the car, it was like a flood of blood coming away from me. It soaked through my underclothes, my skirt and my SUEDE coat. I was so disappointed as I really thought the BSM was making a difference. However, come Saturday evening, the blood flow had stopped completely and I haven't had any since. I cautiously believe that this is the BSM. Had I not had the polyp I wouldn't have gone for surgery but I need reassurance that it is not malignant. Once again, I'll keep you posted.
