I have had Gout for two months now. Seems to stay with me even though I have quit drinking any alcohol, sodas, now I just drink water. I am trying to figure out what foods triggers it with no results. Yesterday I came on your website and started the Baking Soda Remedy since I cannot find the products for the other Remedies here in Thailand. Started with one half teaspoon last night and Ibuprofen (2 tabs of Advil) and the same this morning. I am about 25% better and will take another one half teaspoon tonight. I am interested in any reports of side effects of the baking soda! Have any been reported on this website? Thanks-More later.

Respectfully, Dan

I was also taking Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother for days and not much improvement in fact, I was in agony, crying, frustrated with the pain...

I have High Blood Pressure so I was reluctant to try baking soda but I decided to eliminate all other salt just to try this. I have heard nothing but good results. My pain didn't subside until the next day but it did subside. In fact, I'm sitting here practically pain free today because of the baking soda, I'm convinced. Just yesterday, I was sitting here crying.

There is still some stiffness but gosh, it is so good to be pain free.

I've had muscle/joint stiffness in my right big toe for 10 days now and it has just gotten worse. I have been trying toe flexing exercises and massaging my foot. It felt good but didn't help. It took three days for me to remember this sites name! I have it book marked now. Every other website didn't even mention Gout nor baking soda. I had been taking ACV for four days now (with the mother). Not much of a difference, if any. I wasn't even going to try the baking soda at first. But, after reading that it only took a day I decided to give it a try. I had a glass of water sitting in front of me and the baking soda was just a few feet away. Within 2 hours, I barely noticed any pain in my foot. I'm only 44 years young. I eat well and I am a yoga and zumba instructor. I run, bike and hike when I'm not doing my first two hobbies. Gout be gone!

Alkalize! If you catch gout early and take 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in 8 ounces of water three to four times a day.... You can knock it out in a day or two. My husband used to get gout every few months. He drinks beer and eats a lot of red meat. No dietary restrictions for him! Anyway, his last attack he was amazed that I got it to go away literally overnight! He thought it was magic. He has not had another attact in over six months, which is a record for him. Not sure what is up there, but knocking on wood. He would get gout in his big toe or ankle. One time his ankle got so big, they thought it might be cellulitis! Anyway, gout is nasty. As for eating soy.... From what I have read - men should not eat soy, as it promotes estrogen. I would research it more before eating it if I were you. Good luck!

Hi, I had gout for about 5 years before I finally realized what to do. I have been gout free for about a year. The key is water alkalized water, a little baking soda in your water every day. The gout cannot survive in an alkaline body so drink baking soda water and eat lots of fruit. The cherries are good and exercise- try to walk or light jog 3 - 4 days a week at least 30 minutes. You'll be good to go.

Baking soda works, the gout is somehow associated with ph and the baking soda will neutralize it. I have had severe gout where it will attack both feet altenatively and I need to crawl on my knees to get anywhere. I've had it spread up into my wrists with intense pain. I even have passed stones through my urine and experienced terrible pain. If u wanna get rid of gout drink baking soda and water. I don't know how much. 1 glass with a spoonful of baking sode u will see results within the hour.

Gout is caused by uric acid. I found using baking soda (a small amount under the tongue) 4-5 times a day rapidly reduces the gout. simply neutralizes the acid by absorbing directly into the blood.

To who ever suffers from gout listen to this. My mechanic is 38 years old. He unlike his father had never suffered from an attack of gout. He had an attack of gout in his right foot. Severe pain followed. He tried ice. It helped the pain but he had to keep the ice applied to the foot. He had gone to the doctor twice, putting him on two types of medication for the gout. Nothing worked. His father had been on medication for it. When paul asked the doctor for the same meds his father was taking the doctor said he didn't want him to use it. No reason was given why. The doctor gave him a prescription for a third medication. It had no effect.

After 3 and a half months of limping around his shop, an older man came to deliver some auto parts. When he saw Paul was limping around he asked what was wrong. Paul told him gout. He told the gentleman that he had been to the doctor, been given meds and nothing was working. The man told him to get baking soda, warm water and take it 3 times a day. Paul just blew it off and when the pain persisted he tried it with little faith.

He took 3 teaspoons a day with warm water. His gout was gone in two days. He was incredulous.

Hello Fellow Earth Clinic Followers -

Well, this was our second time since finding the baking soda cure that gout has reared its ugly head in our house.

I wrote in on it last time, but since it happened again, and we had just as AMAZINGLY AWESOME results - I wanted to write in again to revalidate the effect it had on my husband.

On Monday my husband started out with a pain in his foot. He was gimping about, but went to work - not telling me. He came home early, knowing it was the dreaded gout.

I started him on the 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda in 8 oz. of water immediately. One dose that afternoon, and one more before bed.

Gave him another dose the next morning, and then noon.... by evening his symptoms were receding.

Amazing! Normally this would be over a week long battle... And we now have it down to well under three days. It never did turn into the complete HELL it usually does either.

I believe that the trick is to catch it IMMEDIATELY. We could have caught it a few hours earlier than we did, but still, it was before a complete explosion of redness, heat and swelling. We know the warning signs now.

When in doubt, down a glass of water with 1/2 tsp of baking soda in it - do NOT wait for it to get ugly!

Best,

Carly
