No, no, no. Do NOT have them removed without proper protection. I had two replaced at the dental hospital without correct procedures, thinking they were better out than in, and in short order was very ill with viral pneumonia, which took 11 weeks to recover from. Another infection followed immediately, and I'm up to 9 now with virtually no break in less than a year. My chest has not yet recovered from the first infection. View Entire Thread
