I have had chronic UTIs for nearly 20 years. I’ve tried everything listed here and elsewhere for them. From teas to garlic to boric acid. From homeopathy to acupuncture. From baking soda to ACV to hydrogen peroxide to various supplements bYou name it I’ve tried it. This last time I gave d-Mannose another try. Oh my goodness. I finally found one that worked for me. Apparently there are several plants fruits and vegetables in which d-Mannose can be derived. The brand Bluebonnet is what finally worked for me. The same day my symptoms lessened. By the second day they were nearly gone. Day three and beyond was amazing. It’s been five days and I feel normal. I can eat anything I want and it doesn’t trigger symptoms. Last night I dreamed a very lone dream, and come to find out bacteria in the gut can affect other parts of your body. Because I’ve had this so long I feel I’ve got to keep the DM up for a while to continue removing bacteria. It’s a life saver!!
I would get 2 to 3 UTI's a year and I hate having to get antibiotics. I started taking D-Mannose last year and have not had 1 UTI since I started taking. Now I take every other day and so far so good.
I use D-Mannose with cranberry, hibiscus & dandelion blend (found on Amazon and not expensive) for my mother's constant uti's. She is bedridden and seems to get them often. I use it for myself, as well, on occasion. I also drink organic unsweetened cranberry juice at same time, It works like a charm. Hope this helps.
