Dietary Changes for Angina

If you are having left chest pain, or angina, where do you get more information?

All over the Internet there are lots of fear messages written by Medical Doctors telling you that A) you are in big trouble, B) you are having a heart attack, C) you already have a serious cardio-vascular disease, and D) talk to a doctor.

All right, go ahead and talk to a doctor, if the talk makes you feel better.

However, do watch out. MDs know very little or nothing about foods, food choices, food combinations, digestion and indigestion. They will never tell you that your angina is one of the many symptoms of INDIGESTION.

According to U.S. National Library of Medicine, indigestion after eating can occur for several reasons, including eating too quickly, or eating a high-fat meal.

Example: Yesterday night I had angina after eating a combination of 3 raw egg yolks, 500 grams of raw green peas, and 250 grams of butter.

Why? Because it was a high-fat meal. And because raw green peas are hard to digest. An because butter is hard to digest. And because the combination of yolks, AND green peas, AND butter, is especially hard to digest.

In sharp contrast, tonight I had no angina after eating a combination of 125 grams of cooked sardines and 8 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.

Why? Because the combination of cooked sardines and olive oil is relatively easy to digest.

I hope this will help somebody!

Electrolytes for Chest Pain

Electrolytes got rid of some chest pain for me. Unbelievable, but worth checking out if you have tried everything else and it’s the middle of the night. I didn't know what I was dealing with. All I knew is it felt like a pinching under my left breast. I have experienced that in past times, but I never knew what made it go.

Last night before I finally fell asleep, I took everything I could think of for gas or heart conditions, this included cayenne pepper and baking soda. When I woke up the pinching pain was still there and so was I, thank God. I was praying that nothing would pop loose. It was now about 12:30 a.m. just a little after midnight. I took Nattokinase 40

00 fibrinolytic units on an empty stomach. Two hours passed but the pinch in the chest refuse to budge. I thought about Potassium, Magnesium and Vitamin C and D, but I had tried them all yesterday. So, I decided to fix an Emergen-C Electrolyte pack. The pain faded away and was gone in five minutes and I went back to sleep. Praise the Lord! And I still feel great.

Vitamin E for Angina Pain

Dave (Fountain Inn, Sc) on 07/20/2017

Angina pain can be dramatically helped by using natural (not synthetic) Vitamin E. I've recently seen another case of this; where a lady had multiple stints placed in her after a heart attack but the angina continued. After being on 400 IUs of natural E daily, the Angina stopped. I understand that it is best to start E at 200 IUs...taking either d-alpha tocopherol or mixed tocopherols. After taking 200 IUs for a few weeks, increase to 400 and so forth. I've been on 800 IUs of E for 30 years.

Magnesium Malate for Angina

Magnesium Malate for Angina

Cure: Two years after a heart attack, two RCA stents, and rehab, I was again fast walking down and up the mile long 400 feet high hill I live at the top of, and developed angina. I popped a nitro tablet, the pain went away in 10 minutes, and I finished my walk. Then I started reading for a real remedy.

The bottom line from my research is that I started taking a magnesium malate 1250 mg tablet once a day (RDA = 425). A week later I mowed the lawn with the mower drive slipping, working up a big sweat, and the following day walked the big hill – all painlessly. FYI I'm 72, and I do take several other supplements including ACV w/ K/Na (3:1) bicarb, but this one made the difference.

The theory is that angina is closely associated with hardening of the coronary arteries which is associated with plaque deposits. Plaque is associated with calcium, and calcium with magnesium – as electrolytes (along with potassium and sodium). Magnesium deficiency has become common in soils and consequently in foods, and in most, especially older people. Apparently, the smaller, more reactive magnesium ions replace enough of the calcium in the plaque which makes it soluble in the blood – so that they shrink away harmlessly. For references just search for "plaque magnesium" no quotes.

Amethyst for Angina

I know this is a weird one, so I hesitate to state it a bit, but maybe it will help someone. I discovered this like 20 years ago or so, and am not sure how people will take it. I discovered the semi-precious gemstone amethyst helps alleviate the pain of angina when held in the left hand or over the heart. Apparently it also causes osteoporosis and dental problems too, if near the body too long, as it gradually dissolves fats and minerals too.

Weird, but since it's cheap and easy, I thought I'd speak up.

Re: Cranberry Soft-gels 8400 mg, with included 40 mg, C, and 6 IU Vitamin E, for Chest Pain:

Just wanted to share that when I was tapering off my Vitamins to get ready for the end and beginning of the year Shut in, I had the return of some chest pain.

To keep this post short, my mother gave me a bottle of Cranberry soft gels. I decided to take two as suggested on the bottle. And the pain left. I took it hoping it would shield me from a candy cane, and low and behold.... it took the chest pain. This is about two weeks now.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Lugol's for 92 Year Old Father With Chest Pain

Tassi (Berkeley, Ca) on 07/18/2016
5 out of 5 stars

My 92 yr old father was having heart pain that kept coming back even after what had been working for a few years now, which was hawthorn tincture in large doses (like 1/4 of a 4-oz bottle or more, in warm water - about 1/4 cup), which used to fix things up for days at least, but now was only lasting a couple of hours (and this alongside the 2 capsules of dry hawthorn extract he always takes routinely, plus even with adding capsule contents to the warm tea). So I looked on earthclinic.com and decided to try what I have on hand, which is Lugol's iodine and ACV.

Yesterday morning I started him on ACV in a glass with 8 oz of water with 2 Tablespoons of ACV (organic w mother). I told him to take 2 swallows and in another 2 hours take 2 more, etc. till it was gone. Then I brought him a shot glass with a tablespoon or 2 of water and put one drop of Lugol's 5% iodine into that, and told him to take this if he experienced pain, and see what happened. He said, "How much pain?" I said "Well, ok, ANY pain, " and he picked it up and swigged it down.

As of today at 4 pm now, he has had no more pains and even started doing his exercises again, which he had stopped because that was what set off the pains several days ago. I will keep giving him the ACV every day and see how it goes. If it comes back, I will try Lugol's again.

L-Arginine Supplement for Angina (Chest Pain)

Grace (Sf) on 08/08/2015

My heart had gone haywire for 3 years my heart would race then slow down, beat so hard my entire body shook, light-headed, dizziness and pain in my chest. Saw two robotic-like cardiologists. One said PVC. The other one said, sinus node and the cure for that is to burn the node and put a pacemaker in! No way!

I did extensive research. Saw an ND, he had me on 2 (200mg )magnesium 3x a day and increased my zinc. A friend begged me to try her supplement that has L-arginine, L-citrulline, d-ribose. But not in pill form it is not as effective. Some cardiologist are recommending to patients with Angina that seems to cure the problem in many cases. It's a powder formula with L-arginine, L-citrulline and d-ribose in it. It worked! Two weeks later no more heart problems and breathing easy.

Arginine, an amino acid, produces nitric oxide which may relax the arterial walls active, and it apparently lows blood pressure in some patients.

Heart issues have a cause that a cardiologist may not look at food allergies, dental cavitations hidden infection, parasites, mold or environmental allergies, and Electro magnetic sensitivity.

Cayenne for Angina

I have angina. Whenever my chest feels really tight or I have my armpit pain, I drink cayenne water. I put 1/8th of a tsp in a small glass of water and drink it down. I hate spicy foods so to this I have to be in a lot of pain. The crazy thing is that if I need it it does not burn my mouth. After drinking this the pain goes away within minutes. If it takes longer I drink another glass.

Black Tea for Chest Pain

My husband used to drink ACV mixed with water to relieve chest pains. It works for a while but it does not work that fast anymore. I made him drink black tea in addition to ACV because I've read before that black tea helped reduce heart attack and stroke. I thought that it can also help with chest pains...and it did! My husband now takes ACV and water mixture followed by a cup of hot black tea.

Lugol's Iodine Stopped Chest Pain

Karen (NJ, US) on 01/06/2015
5 out of 5 stars

I'm writing to share my "miracle" experience. I've had chest pain that felt like severe inflammation for years. My left side (breast) felt so tender as if it was bruised. If my little (4lb) dog jumped on me when I was laying on the couch, I'd go thru the roof. I really thought this was stress related (or worse as I'm a smoker).

I was trying a few different things, fish oils, vitamin E, garlic, etc. I can't say anything worked and it was getting to the point where it was chronic and I was always holding my chest. For reasons I can't really explain (fear?) I just would not go to a doctor. I couldn't bring myself to open that Pandora's Box.

Anyway, at Christmas time I ordered Lugol's Iodine, 5%. When it arrived I just put a drop in about 2" of bottled water and drank it. I did it again that evening. I am not kidding or embellishing in any way - ALL OF THE CHEST PAIN IS GONE. Completely GONE. I am so unaccustomed to being pain free that I find myself still holding my chest, even though nothing hurts! So - perhaps it's my thyroid, I'm not sure, but this has been nothing short of a miracle for me and I hope someone reading this will recognize their own similar symptoms and try the idodine. No matter how much I researched I never found anyone that described symptoms like mine.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Chest Pain and Weight Loss

Vanessw (New Orleans, Louisiana) on 11/30/2014
5 out of 5 stars

I was born with an enlarged heart and my cardiologist cautioned me about gaining weight and doing intense workout. When I was in my 20s, I was able to maintain my weight with dieting. However, when I reached middle 30s, I started putting on weight as I got tired of watching what I ate. Now I am at my heaviest and I get chest pains everyday. I've read from EC that Apple Cider Vinegar can help in losing weight, lower blood pressure and blood sugar so I started taking it 3 days ago when I got another chest pain. I was amazed because the pain was gone after 10 minutes! I have no chest pain since then! I am now taking it regularly for the health benefits that it gives.

Thank you for sharing the info about ACV here.

Salvia for Angina

Sam (Miami, FL) on 08/11/2014

Microcirculation has been demonstrated as occupying a key position in the cardiovascular system.

While treatment of angina and hepatitis remain the most common clinical applications of salvia in modern Chinese clinical practice, the herb has been shown to have other valuable applications, based on its effects on microcirculation.

Olive Oil for Chest Pain

Art (Vancouver Bc, Canada.) on 03/18/2013
5 out of 5 stars

I started getting a chest pain 25 years prior to this one. It was right in the middle of my chest and I felt a dull outward pressure. I went to the hospital and got hooked up to monitor my heart. When the pain would come I would tell the nurse who was watching me. She told me everything is fine with my heart and the pain I am experiencing is something else. They sent me home. A friend of mine suggested I try 1/2 a cup of Pure Virgin Olive Oil. Within minutes the pain subsided. For the next week I would take a swig of this and the pain left. Then no more pain after that and I was really happy about that because I do not like the taste of olive oil. Fast forward to last week. I start getting an aching sensation in my chest at night around 4am. I would awake gasping for air and thinking is this COPD. I was really bothered by this because my mother eventualy suffocated to death from this. The other night I had some pop corn around 9pm and half an hour later I started to get these chest pains again. I suddenly remembered what I did 25 years previous and got up and gulped down some Olive Oil nit Virgin. Because of the awful taste I rinsed with mouthwash right away. The pain left after 1/2 an hour, I had a good night and awoke feeling new.

Chest Pain: I tried the Cayenne Pepper, and I did feel better after trying it, but my questions is this, "Is it just covering up the problems?" Because I think I may have clogged arteries and need to see a specialist! I noticed that my blood pressure went up after taking the pepper, so if I start exercising may also help.
