I've got 14 medium-sized Cherry Angiomas. My father had them on his torso, and I have them on my torso. He couldn't get rid of them, and I can't get rid of them. Some say Cherry Angiomas generally respond favorably to home remedies, including Iodine. Therefore my latest attempt was the use of Iodine. I put myself on Iodine; 150 mg per day, every day, in the last 12 months, in the form of a 5% Lugol's Solution. Was the Iodine any help? No, no help at all. Guys, learn from my experience! Iodine is not the right remedy, if you're trying to get rid of your Cherry Angiomas.
I hope this will help somebody!

I tried iodine (Lugols 5%) after watching Dr Berg video on moles (I didn't realize it was a cherry angioma until later). It didn't get rid of it, but it did make it a lot less red and angry looking. I think it got a bit smaller, but not by much. Doesn't get itchy now. Added a little idonie for a few weeks.

I read several comments here associating bromine toxicity with cherry angiomas and suggesting the use of iodine to resolve. My husband used to have LOTS of cherry angiomas on his chest and back. He started taking 6.25mg of iodoral/day at least six months ago, and I just checked and now he only about 5 total. Iodoral comes in 12.5mg tablets and he splits them in half (they are scored). Order online. It is a great supplement that I won't go without, as it helps detoxify bromine (bread, flour); fluoride (water, toothpaste); and chlorine (water); and it protects against breast & testicular cancer and thyroid issues. You may want to start taking iodine drops, measured in micrograms, and over several months increase the dosage gradually to prevent any detox effects (or skip days at first). I've had no side effects of any kind, taking up to 50 mg/day, personally.
