Try some sodium bicarbonate, when fizz stops, drink.Replied by Janet (In ) on 02/12/2017
Shadel, I put a pinch of baking soda in it add water let it react. Then the acidity is gone. You can also buy sodium ascorbate which is easily absorbed by the body. Which is the same. JanetReplied by Mama To Many (Tn) on 02/12/2017
Dear Shadel,
I usually use 1/4 teaspoon ascorbic acid plus 1/8 teaspoon baking soda and a few ounces of water and find it quite tolerable and this gives you about 1,250 mg of vitamin C.
Sometimes I put the juice of 1 lime plus 8 ounces of water plus 1/2 teaspoon ascorbic acid powder (ascorbic acid) and 3/8 baking soda. It is quite pleasant, though not sweet. That gives 2,500 mg of vitamin C.
