Ted had mentioned that dmso could be used for help with lungs through nebulizer. why couldn't you soak tobacco in dmso and smoke it? since i am a smoker, i was wondering if i could use dmso that way.

Any form of smoke is not good for the lungs. A nebulizer transports the DMSO through moist steam. This is healthy for your lungs. Anything taken into the lungs through smoke is transformed into a deadly toxin and is not healthy for you. Even if it is the most helpful herb on the planet it is best to take it by other means. Marijuana for instance is only really beneficial if ingested, used in IV therapy, or taken through moist heat not smoke. That's not to say that there is no immediate "feeling" of pain management or anxiety relief but it is counter active for people who are suffering as it hinders the lungs and therefore the rest of the body during what should be the healing process. Making most people sick for longer than is necessary.
