You just snap one of the stalks off at the root and squeeze the gel out starting at the smaller, pointy end of the stalk, working your way down. Works great! :)Replied by Lynne (Sheffield, Uk) on 05/01/2012
Hi, re aloe vera, I purchase Aubrey Organics Aloe Vera Gel from online, several websites sell, I think that I have even purchased from ebay. Aubrey organics is the best that I have found with just a little bit of grapefruit seed extract and vit E as preservative, sometimes a little guar gum as thickener. You will not find better unless you grow your own. I would not use anything else as a moisturiser and it is not expensive. You have to learn the nack of applying without spilling as it is just juice so is the consistency of water.
