Hi TimH,

I have a hairline fracture left side of rib. Which side of pole of magnet should I use? Thank you.

... and hello to you Sharan. For best results apply the side that adheres to metal, which is the negative pole if I'm not mistaken, although depending on what type Magnet you have, many will oscillate between pos/neg as they penetrate to the inflammation. The stronger the Magnet the lesser time needed for treatment. You should experience immediate relief of pain & inflammation which will improve healing or recover time.

Post your results if you please.

North side of the magnet is almost always the best choice for healing.

I woke up with an achy, stiff knee this morning. Nothing excruciating, just enough to make me aware of it. I don't take painkillers unless it's impossible for me to function. So was not happy at the thought of the pain ruining my day. Timh's post about magnets caught my attention. While I sat and did my regular morning meditation and Kriya Kirtan I placed a square fridge magnet on my knee. When I got up 30 minutes later my knee had no pain. I went through my day as usual and even went for a spin class at noon. It's past six pm now and my knee is still pain free. Thanks so much, Timh!
