What Is the Sea Salt/ Lemon Juice Dosage for Asthma?

My three-year-old is slowly outgrowing her asthma, however, during cold and flu season the risk of her getting pneumonia is still present. Without having to give her inhaled steroids, what is the dosage of sea salt and lemon juice for a three almost four year old? This remedy is much more enticing than her prescribed steroids and albuterol, especially since it is much more mild the older she gets.
