Sodium Content in Borax?

Borax for arthritis, no one has mentioned the amount of sodium in borax. The amount of sodium in baking soda is listed on the box. For someone with BP issues, this should a concern.

In the context of the amount being taken, 1/8 teaspoon (women) or 1/4 teaspoon (men), how serious of an issue is the sodium chloride content of Borax?

That may be why no one has mentioned it. Relieving the pain of arthritis may be the more critical factor because if it works for your arthritis, you are alleviating a lot of chronic inflammation and oxidative stress which is overall, damaging to the body and likely to raise your blood pressure as pain is known to do. Context is important.

Borox lowers c- reactive proteins. Which likely far worse than moderately high BP. Now if you're in stroke range I'd worry a bit more. If it were me though I'd cut sodium elsewhere if I could. Also they're finding it more of an issue of the ratio of sodium/potassium that's is the issue with BP. So you might just ad some potassium to offset it.
