Posted By John (Trang, Thailand) on 08/04/2008

Hi EC & Ted, I have 15 grams of Thiosulfate crystals in a bottle. How much water do I dissolve it in & what % will this give me? I will use it to clean the Thai bottled water of chlorine & me also. Love the site & I am addicted to information. Thanks. John

How does it taste?

Does it have to be refrigerated or can it be stored a room temperature?

BackInService,

Sodium Thiosulfate (ST) that I use looks like very small pieces of broken safety glass or little crystals that are roughly half the size of a pea. It has a very mild taste that is slightly salty, but I only use a few crystals at a time mixed in a glass of water so the taste is not strong. I don't know about storage because I only make it as needed. You might research Ted's remedies as he used and recommended ST.
