Questions About Mini Beet Protocol

Posted By Vicky (Nsw Australia) on 11/17/2015

I've just read Robert Von Sarbacher's 'mini beets protocol' and want to do it and grow my own organic beets but- can anyone tell me what 'beets' are? Sounds silly I know but I've never had one and the only beets I know of are called 'beetroot' in Australia. Forgive my naivete' I sadly grew up on the cheaper fast foods and packet foods, hardly any vegetables or fruit at all (which is no doubt why I'm needing to repair my health now). Thank you for anyone who can tell me what they're called - which type (as I have to online order the seeds to grow them and want to get the right ones) I appreciate any help

Dear Vicky,

What we call "beets" are the root of the beet plant. So, "beet" and "beetroot" would be the same thing.

I would look for an Heirloom Variety when ordering seeds.
