My husband has "tested" and kept a journal on his gout for many months now. He records what flares it up & what medicines alleviate it in its different stages. Yesterday, at a friend's birthday party, he ate sugary foods. By midnight, gout had flared in his right, big toe. This morning, his back ached badly as well. Rather than let him reach for medication for these beginning inflammatory signs before a full blown attack, I took advantage of his busy morning, convincing him to let me apply VCO on his toe and on the small of his back. Pretty soon (within 30 minutes), he was walking around discussing his work, local news, lunch... Not noticing that he was no longer walking slumped over nor with a tentative gait. I smiled at him. You see, my funny, lovable, extremely smart, nerdy husband has stubbornly resisted natural cures, consdering my oils, herbs and natural remedies witch's brew. He jokes that I'm turning our bathroom into Nostradamus' apothecary. When he gets sick he searches the net for the latest pill-remedy by mordern man whearas I always look toward natural remedies. I'm in "wait mode" now, waithg until he finally has that AH, HA! moment concerning natural remedies.. Bless his heart, he's stubborn but I see the dawn of enlightenment brewing within him... Peace to all on this journey.... CATReplied by Karlapep (Mandeville, La, Usa) on 06/13/2012
Can you please relate, what is "VCO" that you used for your husband's gout?
