Can Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide Be Transported in Luggage?

Posted By Enaj Snilloc (Banyuls Sur Mer, None, France) on 01/23/2012

Hello, I am visiting in Canada and have just purchased a small bottle of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35%). I want to take it back with me to France where they do not sell this product (at least I haven't found it). If well packaged is it safe to pack the H2O2 in my check-in luggage? The bottle has not yet been opened so the seal is good. I leave on Jan 29 2012 so would really appreciate a response a.s.a.p

Thanks

Dear Enaj, I have brought a litre of HP back with me in my suitcase, from the USA to the UK. Unopened of course, it should be fine. If you need to find a supplier closer to home, try "Bobbys'" UK, who also sell Lugols Iodine. They really are the most helpful people.

Best wishes

Michelle
