Are there any analyses of Borax for elemental impurities?
Borax itself is useful and safe, but my concern is with potential contaminants such as aluminum. The Borax website references the refining process that all Borax products go through. The Borax that we're talking about here, Borax decahydrate, then goes through another refining process for pharmaceutical-grade products as stated on their website:
"Our exceptional compliance record starts at our Coudekerque operations, where our refined borates are subject to an additional refining process to ensure low levels of elemental impurities."
What are these impurities that are contained in the Borax that would be used for health purposes?
