Borax and Bladder Infections

I am wondering if Borax would increase chances of getting UTIs. I have found that I can avoid them if I stay far away from eating chicken meat. When I get a UTI, I take parsley tea and drink lots of water and straight cranberry and sometimes a solution of apple cider vinegar. If I treat it quickly, I can get rid of it in less than 24 hours. Having sugar or foods like baking soda sometimes make the process longer. So is borax more acidic or basic?

Hi Holly,

Borax water solution has a pH in the 9.0 to 9.3 range. For comparison, baking soda has a pH range of 8.2 to 8.5.
