I'd like to try the baking soda and borax solution on my dog, but I'm sure he will lick it if I apply it to his belly. Is that OK? Or do I apply it and rinse it off? Is there a better solution? I believe his infection is due to seasonal allergies. It has cleared up in the past when I get him a steroid shot, but I'd like an alternative.
