Newfoundland Is Sick and Gulping Water

My 7.5 yr. old Newffie is sick. She isn't eating her food - only special treats like potatoes and a bit of steak or beef and peanut butter bread. She is weak and drinking tons of water and urinating very frequently - probably because of drinking so much water. I don't know what to do to get her back on her feet. She's even having trouble getting up! Can you make any suggestions?

You MUST bring your Newfie to the vet!!! It sounds as if she might have the symptoms of IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. Search for "IMHA" here on EC. I posted some info about my dog having these similar symptoms, and what to do.
