Posted By Rhea (Indianapolis, Indiana) on 04/05/2013

I have a pug that has a staph infection in his skin fold. We have treated with numerous antibiotics, creams, etc. Still having the same problem. The Vet reccomended removing his tail, but we are trying to save it. :-) Do you ever make any reccomendations for animals or know anyone who wouold?

Thank you so much, Rhea

rub some coconut oil on it, a little spot at a time in case their is a reaction, in a book I own they healed a dog with rubbing it on a skinless area and coconut oil is anit viral, anti microbial, anti fungal , anti bacterial

Another avenue to bark down would be research milk of magnesia for topical or sea salt in the dogs water or magnesium oil topical spray
