Would ozone generators help moldy apartment

I have severe mold illness and had to leave my apartment that was cross contaminated 3 months ago with mycotoxins in my belongings from my last moldy apartment. I would like to ask if ozone generators can help solving this issue. I react badly every time I go home. Thanks!!

Ozone is deadly to human, can even cause lung cancer. It is used in minimal doses for therapeutic purposes.

For mold in Home, dissolve 1 tsp of Borax powder in 1 litre of water (the water should be soapy after dissolving borax powder). Get a garden spray and spray this solution wherever you see mold.

Safe for humans and pets.

Or, get 3% Hydrogen Peroxide from dollar store and spray this directly on mold affected areas. Wear a mask when using Hydrogen Peroxide.

C: Yes, Ozone will eradicate the mold. The method of use is high concentration "blast" while no humans or pets are inside. For an apt -1000 sq ft., 8 or 10 mg per hr for at least 4hrs per day for as many days or treatments are necessary. Ed's advice on toxicity must mean to not be inside the apt during treatment.

You can buy, rent, or hire ozone trt as whatever is most convenient. If you decide to do this there are precautions as to what items should not be inside and duration of trt. etc.

HI U CECI, , , , , , , , , just went down your trail about 5 months ago. Mold needs moisture, so buy you a humidity tester@ $7 and a dehumidifier and run it when the humidity is above 50%. In the winter run a humidifier at night over your bed that contains a half cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide per 1/2 gallon of water.

You have to lower the moisture in your apt. Read up on GSE. Education will solve your problem. Read and when you get tired, read some more.

Thank you so much for your answers!! ..but my new apartment doesn't have any visible mold, the place is new very clean and doesn't have any water filtration .The problem resides on mycotoxins in my belonggins and that was my doubt and concern. Can ozone generators get rid of mycotoxins on walls, clothing carpets, furniture etc ?? 5 minutes inside my house gives me nausea, stomachache inner tremors, burning brain, burning pain and itching all over my body, horrible anxiety, ringing ears and the list goes on and on....?

C: You have a condition called Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). This means your natural defenses are on very low function.

Spend some time on the E.C. "detox" and "cleanse" remedies (open a WordPad document and past notes of what you need to re-read and a list of items to purchase from health food store) These remedies will take several months to a yr to complete; then begin supplementing antioxidant nutrition. I have made several post on the need to boost antioxidants.
