Would like to end dependency on meds for thyroid

Posted By Claire (Jeffersonville, Indiana, Usa) on 01/05/2012

Hi all, I got caught up with Earth Clinic all day today, reading and making notes. I have been on Levothyoxine 75MCG for 4 years, after my child birth and I am sick of taking this chemical compound every morning, waiting at least 30 minutes to finally start my day and if I ever forget to take it, I am in panic. I have been a skeptic over natural remedy, being brainwashed by doctor's limited education. But, now that I open my eyes and decided to seek for myself, I am wondering how to start with having my thyroid function after so long being dependent on this levothyroxine. Anyone who has been like me out there? I appreciate your attention.

Start researching iodine. Google David Brownstein. He has written an excellent book on the subject. Iodine is needed for the thyroid to function.
