I was born with a hiatal hernia and started to develop scarbs on my head around the age of 5 yrs old. I been to the Dr. All my life. I am now 35 yrs old. I just found out yesterday that the hospital I been going to for many years has known about my condition and never advised me. I got my ER report from last week and found it in my record. The hospital has been keeping me sick pumping me with pills all my life and never advised me for 35 years that I have SJS. If I knew I had this disease from the beginning I would of not of smoked cigarettes. I am seeking an attorney. I am suing 4 Hospitals. And my town ambulance fire department.

Many years ago I had a close friend, who had what she termed a "Bible", which in effect was a divided folder, for all her own copies of lab reports and doctor visits, she then had a complete history on herself. Granted you are young to have to start this, but you must be your own advocate. All a doctor can do for you is diagnose, prescribe pharmaceuticals, prescribe surgery. They know nothing about natural healing. I personally have had to get myself off PPI's for gerd (causes other problems) and many other medications. Our good health is not a gift of youth or ignorance, we must take back control of our health. Best wishes.
