I am hesitant to go to the Dr for it as their method just seems to be prescribing medication (of which I am more sensitive then most to the side effects). I've been reading through your site after finding quite by accident & think that the information on here is invaluable (especially re kidney stones). Do you have any opinions, suggestions, advice? It would be most welcome. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this

Dear Bek from Canada, I have similar problems when I am not getting enough exercise. This condition you describe can be the result of poor blood circulation. Adequate exercise should help. There are many types of exercise. You got get out and move around or do exercise while watching TV. I do light work outs with dumb bells for example. Find some exercises you enjoy. Bike riding is a good one. Drinking adequate amounts of good water is also important for good blood circulation. It really does work if you stay with it. You do not have to spend hours in a gym. Just do what you can, but make the effort....OscarReplied by Mmsg (Somewhere, Europe) on 01/06/2014
Bek, you can start by reading up on Epsom Salt baths.Replied by Carly (Usa) on 01/06/2014
I just wanted to say....when I had tingling and weakness in my legs a few years ago....I went to the ER I was so freaked out. The only thing my bloodwork showed was low potassium. I woke up this morning with one leg feeling really strange, and drank a large V-8 and have felt fine since. Orange juice, bananas and potatoes are pretty starchy/sugar laden, but also have fairly high potassium. Just thought it might be something easy to try....before going in for expensive tests! Good luck, I know how scary it is! :-)
