I've tried most of the remedies but have had the best luck by doing the following treatment 2 or three times per week: 1) Soften nail and foot with warm soapy water and a scrub brush, 2) Aggressively trim and scrape the discolored portion of the nail and remove as much of the underlying whitish fungal residue as possible. 3) Put a drop of castor oil on the nail area and then spray feet with an over-the-counter anti-fungal product. I will probably will need to keep doing this forever because my nail's growth rate has slowed and it can no longer keep ahead of the fungus' growth rate.Replied by Om (Hope Bc Canada) on 12/18/2013
I am not joking - get your gum boots, pee into them and then walk around for a day or more. You will be free of fungal problems sooner than using a whole battery of remedies. This is supreme. Om
