Natural Replacement to Prednisone?

I have been on prednisone 7.5 ml. for a year for allergies that affected my breathing.

I am down to 5mg. And would love to get off this. When I tried before my heart races and I feel ill - breathing and feel congested.

Is there anything I can replace this with naturally? Thinning hair, dry skin, weight gain.
