What natural medicine can regulate my period

Posted By Vilemuse (Missouri, US) on 03/15/2015

I am 23 and I have my period all the time. My period may stop for a couple days or even a week every once in awhile but it always starts back up randomly at random moments. It's very annoying and inconvenient. It stops me doing things I want to and I constantly feel like I am lacking the energy that I should have. I don't have the money to go to the doctor. I was hoping there is some natural supplement that I can take to regulate it and make it only come once a month instead of all the time. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Vilemuse,

I was having a similar problem 11 years ago. I used natural progesterone to get the problem under control. Things leveled out in about 3 months. But I am not sure how "natural" it is, though it did work well.

Since cost of treatment is a concern, you start with Apple Cider Vinegar and Blackstrap Molasses. These two things help a lot of ladies with their cycle troubles. You could try this for a couple of months and if it doesn't work, try the natural progesterone. If you do the Vinegar and Molasses, you could try 1 Tablespoon in 10 ounces of water once or twice a day and 1 Tablespoon of Blackstrap molasses once a day. Both of these things may also help with the energy levels.

Let us know how things go for you!

You might want to research Black Cohosh herb, I know that some women had success with it. Chasteberry (vitex agnus chastus) and Motherwort are also female-friendly herbs.
