Husband's High PSA Went Up After Antibiotic Round

High PSA Test

My husband has what the Dr. said not a large prostrate but a "huge" one. He has had the test done where they take samples out and he does not have cancer. His PSA last time was 9 so the Dr. thought maybe he had an infection and put him on Cipro for 21 days, then did another PSA test and it had gone up to 11 instead of going down! Now they want to do another test. What can he do naturally? He does not like taking rx. We both take a lot of suplements and eat very healthy. He is also a vegetarian.

Help!

This is kinda personal, but I worked at an Asian medicine clinic for years. and the best prevention in their opinion for prostrate enlargement is daily ejaculation. also dairy products specifically and then animal products in general are very hard on the prostrate. and I’m sure you already know about saw palmeto.... it’s cheap with no upper limit. ( it’s fed as feed to cows) I’ve seen several people completely cure prostate enlargement and high PSAs with these three actions.

Best of fortune to you!!!❤️

Research the role of Small Flower Willow Herb. Small Flower Willow Herb has been used to naturally treat prostate problems and many other conditions for many decades. During that time, many people report reversal of health issues including prostate problems just by drinking this pleasant tasting tea. Do your own research

Hello,

I to suffered from a very large prostate that was having a debilitating impact on my ability to empty my bladder and because it was nearly always about a third full, over time this also led to low grade, but chronic, inflammation of the bladder. This caused the lining of the bladder to thicken which made my ability to pass urine even worse.
eventually I saw a specialist who persuaded me to have green laser prostate surgery. This was a straight forward procedure with no insertions require as the micro laser goes through the urethra and reduce the size of the prostate and in my case it was reduced back to the size that it was when I was in my 20s.
However even after I had made a full recovery, it still took several months before I regained all of my normal bladder function due to the fact that over all the years of suffering from a growing prostate the bladder develops it’s own memory and more or less has to reprogram itself to accept that it can now be fully emptied which has now done.

I am so glad that I had this procedure and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any other men who are suffering from the same problem.

If nothing is done the problem will only get worse over time and I was told that in some unfortunate cases some men reach the stage when they they can’t urinate at all which would require emergency and invasive surgery.

I also spent years being a vegetarian but it eventually caused me so many health problems that I gave it up and now eat grass fed, free range meat, eggs and butter. The impact on my health has been really quite incredible and I haven’t been so lean and felt so good in years.

Supplements: quercetin, sulforaphane & beta-glucans. For the first week or two you may want to load up on them then gradually reduce to a maintenance dose. if possible let me know how it works out for you...

Diindolylmethane (DIM, in short) is a great supplement for both men and women. There is much information online about it.

I can't offer anything specific to help, but I read the info sheet that came with CIPRO, once ( " May cause SNAPPING of Achilles tendon, even months after stopping use " ). I refused to take it. Good, that your husband is a vegetarian, but dairy, sugar, and gluten, as well as other GMO ingredients in vegetarian diets, can have unpredictable symptoms that could affect PSA. Organic only, vegan is best for humans & merciful for pain-aware animals. And there are, now, Non-GMO veggie burgers & non-dairy, non-gmo cheeses that are tasty & chewy for a better "mouth feel ". Organic is safest, but at least stay with Non-GMO, to avoid the flood of " Franken-Foods " that our for-sale government allows. Remember, the Food And Drug Administration also allows, to come right into your TV, drug commercials that repeatedly say, " May be fatal, or cause death! " Thanks, FDA!

My treatment for enlarged prostrate is a couple of tablespoons of Cod Liver Oil and a zinc and copper tablet. When I first had this problem, the doctor told me I had an enlarged prostrate but did nothing else for me. My PSA was high but said it wasn't cancer.

The research I did led me to using Cod Liver Oil that was rich in vitamin A, and my prostrate shrunk. This worked for a year or so and then stopped working. More research finally led me to understand that it was zinc that moved vitamin A around in the body and with out zinc, vitamin A couldn't be moved. I took zinc with the vitamin A and for a while again it worked, but again after a year or so stopped working again. Back to the books and more research and I found out that if you take zinc by itself it will create a deficiency of copper. I added copper to the regimen and since then there's been no further problem.

So my prescription is two tablespoons of cod liver oil, a 50 mg zinc tablet or capsule and a two mg copper tablet.

I hope this is of help to you.

Frank
